A Republican lawmaker trying to unseat Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner is standing by a campaign ad thats being blasted as racist, homophobic and repulsive.
State Rep. Jeanne Ives, a social and fiscal conservative, says the ad that began airing this weekend illustrates the GOP governors chosen constituents based on the policy choices he made.
The ad features actors portraying people including a transgender woman and a Chicago Teachers Union member, all thanking Rauner.
The deep-voiced transgender woman, wearing a dress that reveals a hairy chest, says Thank you for signing legislation that lets me use the girls bathroom.

That’s funny. Not racist or homophobic, it’s funny
Calling a white man a *acist is the same as calling a black man a *igger.
Dems can’t explain why letting a confused guy into the girl’s bathroom is ok, so they call the candidate out as being homophobic.
Ya, run on THAT campaign......
Not everything that offends is ‘racist’.
Some people have stopped even trying to discern the difference. Good Ad. I hope he keeps showing it.
Shock them with The Truth.
Silly. Only white folks can be racis’. But the other, anyone can be one. Read closer on the white privilege card. The racis’ certification is included. ;-)
Lol
One of the best Political ads ever! Worthless Rauner completely caved to the evil axis of Madigan-Durbin-Emanuel - Illinois is ruined under these three criminals.
Rauner is vile. A Combiner Democrat agent pretending to be a Republican, no different than ex-Sen. Mark Kirk. I hope Ives stomps his ass into the ground.
Rauner is a one term governor. He wont even win the primary.

How does a social and economic conservative win in Illinois? Too many of their would be voters are moving out of Illinois, if and when they can afford to do so.
It will be easier for Rauner to pass thru the eye of a needle then win in the general.
The illegal is seemingly played by a White dude.
I admire the ad for going mocking the trannies.
I hope that Rep. Ives will win her primary. Have you heard of any recent (since Jan. 16) poll results that show that she’ll win? If so, what were the percentages? I read about an early Jan. poll that contacted about 500 likely republican primary voters. The results were Rauner, 65%; Ives, 20%; undecided, 15%.
I don’t know how a conservative can win, statewide, in IL. Peter Fitzgerald did it in 1998. I hope that Rep. Ives got advice from him.
Hah! Hit 'em where it hurts.
