Driver opens fire on African migrants in Italian city of Macerata

A man has opened fire on pedestrians in the Italian city of Macerata, injuring several African migrants in an attack that police said appeared to be racially motivated.

Local media reported that at least six migrants, five men and a woman, had been shot by a man driving and firing from his car window.

Police told residents to stay out of the way and avoid open places before announcing that a man had been arrested.

The state broadcaster, Rai, said the suspect was a 28-year-old white Italian man from Macerata. Police later published a photo of him, with an Italian flag draped over his shoulders, being taken away by armed officers.

Corriere della Sera reported that a man had fired from a car window at two young African people shortly after 11am local time, wounding one. A short while later two other people, including a woman, were shot.

By the afternoon the tally of victims had risen to six, with one suffering life-threatening injuries, according to the city’s mayor, Romano Carancini.

The shootings happened days after the dismembered body of an 18-year-old Italian woman, Pamela Mastropietro, was discovered in two suitcases near Macerata, in the Marche region around the city, about 125 miles (200km) north-east of Rome.

A 29-year-old Nigerian man has been arrested in connection with the woman’s death.

“Too bad he couldn’t put that effort into running for office.”

Or not getting caught.

That would work for the newcomers, but what to do with the ones already entrenched? The Italian government seems to be siding with the EU edicts, and will put the interests of the invaders above those of their own citizens.

It’ll be a chore to round them all up and ship them all back, but that’s the only way to clean up that mess. In the mean time, Italians are going to be assaulted continuously while their government sits on their hands.

I have many trips to Italy. The Italians do not want them in their country. Whether they are from Libya or north Africa. This shooting is a bad thing but it may also be a good thing. Sooner or later someone has to fight back the only people who are willing right now are the Corsicans. Naples surprised me because of the immigrant gangs that seem to swarm in parts of the city.

“A white Italian man...”
Oh gee, I’m sure if the perp were an African invader, the race would be mentioned right up front like that!

I really thought the mafia would have taken care of them before this.

The mafia doesn’t seem to be as strong as it was in previous years. I noticed that Sicily has fewer of the immigrants. Many large tourists centers have Senegalese guys who put blankets out with their nockoffs out. When the police show up they run. But this is a whole different group today. There is a sense of underlying seething by the Italians. And they don’t hold back on the verbal put downs when they talk to each other about the immigrates.

I’ve seen articles where the Mafia has acted against the migrants, I’ve also seen articles where the Mafia is gun-running to the Middle East and one of the Mafiosos (or Camorra or other such organizations) converted to Islam.

This guy was an amateur. The mafia will take a little longer...and get it right.

Curious to know where the mafia stands on the migrant invasion. Any ideas?

The Italian mafia is selling rifles and other forms of weapons to IS leaders in Libya, Italian newspaper, La Stampa has reported.

As of now, it’s going both ways until I see more confirmation the Mafia would crack down.

There have been other attacks on migrants in Italy and will probably be many more in the future. Italian nationalists are very militant compared to nationalists in countries like France and Austria.

The mafia are major migrant smugglers. They also work with migrant gangs. Nationalist in Italy hate them and will probably mass execute mafia affiliated people and their families if they take full control the government. I’m very serious about that. That’s how strong the anti-mafia feeling is on the far right.

Italy is probably the country in Europe where the immigration invasion is most likely to lead to massive violence first. Italy or Greece.

She was pretty. How did she get mixed up with him or did he pull her off the street? The Austrian girl who was murdered by the refugee let him into her home because she felt sorry for him.

I understand the sentiment behind this Italian man wanting to stop these refugees from ruining their country. He went about it very wrongly though. Innocents shouldn’t die because bad people look somewhat like them.

Yeah, that’s a plan that will totally solve this. /s

The only thing this idiot did was taint everyone opposed to this as crazies, and wrapped an even bigger sympathetic blanket around the migrants.
