I got $5 that says none of these people see the inside of a jail cell, and will gently retire with full benefits.

You were writing your remarks just as I was composing my post # 68. You must be a psychic or something.

Yup, and by extension, the entire U.S. national security intelligence system, particularly the NSA, and even parts of British intelligence as well. When you look at the full breadth and scope of it, you really do have to marvel how blessed this country is that Trump still won.

I can’t believe that a left wing “news” cite using anonymous sources (which was Steele) was used to secure a FISA warrant.

The media playing such a big a role in our justice system should scare the hell out of everyone.

I wish Trump would go all Erdogan on their asses. Drain the swamp, fill up gitmo, and make America great again in one fell swoop.

Item 5 on the last page also opens the door to re-evaluating the Clinton e-mail investigation, given the bias exhibited by at least one of the investigators...
_______________

Spot on. Now that’s the next line of investigation I’d love to see.

but I have no idea what could be the item the Dems were wailing about being a threat to intel sources.

Fusion GPS.

They can no longer make up lies, seed them to friendly MSM outlets, then use the stories to corroborate the lies.

The timing is also interesting.

Note that the first FISA authorization was issued on October 21, 2016, then reapproved again every 90 days (under what ‘new’ evidence was it renewed, I wonder) for a total of three renewals.

Issued: 10/21/2016 for 90 days

Renewed: 1/21/2017

Renewed: 7/21/2017

Renewed: 10/21/2017

That takes it up to 1/21/2018. Gee. Right up to Inauguration Day. Could be just a coincidence. Could be. But that would allow them to keep a close tab right to the day they hand over the keys and walk out the door.

the FISA judge may even preempt Sessions, who seems a bit distracted by perhaps making a new DARE poster, by telling those clowns who signed off on the application to appear before him FORTHWITH to explain why he was “misled”. Then send them off to DC jail for contempt and keep them there for a few years.

Meanwhile, this is just the beginning. Remember the IG report is due out too. That should get into the unmasking stuff and together with this info should move right into the former white house. Let’s see, Obama went to Cuba in 09, maybe he was checking out his coming digs at GITMO?

Yes. My question is, did the FISA court just rubber stamp the renewal every time they were asked to renew it, or did they ever ask (as required when granting these things) “Do you have a separate finding of probable cause for the renewal?”

If the judge is a Clinton or Obama appointee, don't count on it. The judge might even have been in on the scheme!

As a civil matter, Carter Page can seek punitive damages.

This is banana republic stuff. There will be criminal indictments.
Not news to us. Here on FR we’ve known for decades that Hitlery is as crooked as a dog’s hind leg.
