The first priority, of course, was Trump getting elected in the first place. Next is, as you observe 11/2018. Then, on to 2020 and 2022.
So now all the chess pieces are being ordered for maximum effect in 9 short months. What does the memo being released today, next week or not at all have to do with this process? It's simply one maneuver among many others being queued up.
The core intent at this point in time is to really gin up the emotions of the base. This will provide sufficient momentum for further revelations and provide Trump with political support to being the long purge.
I really do find it kind of amusing that so many otherwise attuned FReepers apparently cannot step back and evaluate this process logically. The #1 objective is restoration of a constitutional republic. Period.The.End. Whatever steps are necessary to achieve this goal require a long game to ensure results.

With all due respect, this is beginning to look like a cluster F.
First the memo was going to be released within Presidential
approval within 5 days.
Now the hot potato is going back to Nunes to decide when
the memo will be released.
All the while Nunes and Trump are giving the RATs plenty of
time to discredit it.
The truth is I’m losing interest.
Wake me up if and when it is released.
Your mistake is in thinking that this is being done to entertain you.
Maybe trump knows they are all about to be prosecuted and their names will get out eventually. I think Trump would love to have the names exposed today but maybe is sick of the fake blowback he gets and the satanic demonization that comes his way.
Just re-use them.

Sorry if this is repetitious but I don’t have time to read all comments. My observations:
1. The names in the Stzok - Page text messages were not redacted.
2. The FBI relishes the opportunity to publicly perp walk those who it charges, prior to any determination of guilt or innocence. Now that the show is on the other foot they are all for “personal privacy”.
And knowing the FBI worked against Conservative Americans BECAUSE they were conservative didn't help...
And knowing they've tried to cover their corruption by trying to 'classify' their crimes... by quashing the MEMO ...
Well, come to think of it... maybe you have a point....
My (as of this AM) opinion is this memo is a negotiating chip: just how bad do the commies want to preserve zero’s ‘legacy’? Enough for the deep state to give themselves up, or be given up by the biggest RATS?
Not to mention policy issues being negotiated, like DACA.
It’s now clear what’s eventually released is negotiable.
That is true, that is why I'm being cautious about Major Garrett's report because it could be just more misinformation. There is going to be a lot of desperation displayed until the memo is finally released.
