CROZET, Va. (AP) In a story Jan. 31 about a fatal train crash carrying dozens of Republican members of Congress, The Associated Press, relying on information from a congressman at the scene, misidentified who was killed in the pickup truck. It was a passenger who died, not the driver.

Has anyone looked to see if that truck was supposed to be there then? I would imagine each truck has a certain route for each day. Where was that truck supposed to be on that day, or was that crossing even on it’s route at all? It was full of garbage obviously, so it had to be “in service”.
The Associated Poop story repeated “Republican lawmakers” so, so many times, didn’t it?
To emphasize their continuous point since 2016 that Trump’s agenda is a “trainwreck waiting to happen” maybe?
I saw a tweet somewhere that the train had a helicopter escort of sorts and the engineer was warned to slow down because of the truck.
