The FBI said Wednesday that the bureau has grave concerns about the classified memo that purportedly reveals government surveillance abuses, but White House Chief of Staff John Kelly says it is going public, anyway. With regard to the House Intelligence Committees memorandum, the FBI was provided a limited opportunity to review this memo the day before the committee voted to release it, the FBI said in a statement. As expressed during our initial review, we have grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memos accuracy. But earlier Tuesday, Kelly told Fox News in an exclusive interview the classified memo will be made public soon. Kelly said White House national security aides have been reviewing the memo. It'll be released here pretty quick I think and the whole world can see it, he said.

Thanks for posting this. Best comment on the thread.
Nicely done.
Hahaha...good one
Why yes, I agree. Let the investigations begin and we'll just see what was "omitted".
Let the investigation span back to, say, Jan. 2009 shall we.
The FBI said Wednesday that the bureau has grave concerns about the classified memo that purportedly reveals treasonous criminal activity by the FBI.
I doubt it.
And how much interest did "the FBI" exhibit as far as reading it? Since someone went over to pick up/escort Wray to see it, it seems more likely t\"the FBI" was not keen to see it because "the FBI" didn't want to do the rolled up sleeves work to root out the deep staters....
I would guess that Wray has been torquing Trump's jaws and that releasing the memo against Wray's strong objections is being presented as a learning moment...
They are the same guys at the FBI who say it was a ‘lone perpetrator’ and ‘not terrorist’ related in the first few after an incident and before any investigation that the clowns on CNN who will dutifully crow to the world.
It means his boss wants people to sweat.
Go down, Donald

With all do respect, it is part of the strategy to let your enemies twist in the wind. If you want to benefit, buy some stock in “Depends”. He’ll release it soon. Sip the fine wine.
The bottom line is whatever day Trump decides to releases this 4 page Nunes Memo, it has the legs because it very well could lead to prosecuting officials for malfeasance and corruption in the Federal government. It’s only about deciding what day to release it to give it maximum news cycle coverage. However, Trump could pick any day because this has ‘the news legs,’ to repeat, to go on and on, and the beginnings of making of shambles to the Dems and their attempts to take down Trump.
Why this reluctance to publishing the memo? I thought that we are an “open” society. Could it be that a bunch of high-ranking politicians are getting their heads handed to them if the memo becomes public knowledge?
I hope so. The FBI said the facts were correct but there were material omissions, which I assume means exculpatory material that the compilers may have left out. Personally, I dont think it would probably really be exculpatory unless you spun it that way, which they obviously want to do.
Still, Ill be surprised if this sees the light of day. I think the FBI has checkmated Trump and Congress. If they had released it earlier in the week, it would be out now...but this second-guessing is the only thing that will be harped on and will make it look like the FBI did not approve it and it was not okay to realease it.
That said, since when has the subject of an investigation ever had any say over what can be released or not?

It also allows them time to cover things up or spin - such as this may-be-fake, may-not-be-fake news report of the F.B.I. objecting to the release of the memo.
Why give our enemies time to get on their feet? They’re already spinning after being shown up as a bunch of miserable, anti-American losers last night.
If the memo says that they perpetrated a fraud on the FISA court as we believe it will say, I would have to imagine that the judges on the FISA court should be pretty pissed and want some answers...
