Lots of money in drug pushers.
More if it is “legal”
THEY MUST BE IN A LOTTA PAIN IN THAT TOWN....................
Plan is to kill off white people. Thats why nothing was done.
Maybe.
And Maybe it is because the right people are selling it
Those poor people in so much pain.
I saw this on the news when I was in Orlando over Christmas. There was a congress critter hearing on CSPAN. They were roasting the acting head of an agency involved, a black woman totally in over her head
I wonder who is paying for it. Taxpayers?
Grammy KC always told me. “Stay away from Pills”
More than two a day.
To get a feel for that area of the country, watch “The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia.”
I own that movie. It’s very telling about the US being a lot of different and diverse cultures. It’s like a third world country there.
The Free States of SW West Virginia. Folks gotta gotta get by you know. S/
Kinda remind me of all the Clintoon drug shipments into Mena, AR back in the day....
As then, so it is now: Follow the money trail and it will lead you to the evil.
Some drug dealers wear white coats.
I assume the town in now a ghost town, if the townees are taking them all. 8>)
It took them a whole decade to figure this out? Uh huh. The drug companies were getting their cut, too, with the sells.
A forensic audit of all senior West Virginia law enforcement officials would be most interesting...
definitely has that Mena/Clinton feel to it.
Weird Al’s next hit:
Sold oxycontin once or twice,
livin’ in a mountaineer’s paradise...

Hillbilly Elegy

A Memoir of a Family and Culture in Crisis is a memoir by J.D. Vance about the Appalachian values of his upbringing and their relation to the social problems of his hometown.
Thanks for the ping.
I grew up in WV. My parents still live in Huntington in the same house I grew up in.
The opiod crisis in WV is absolutely horrible. I saw it 1st hand when I was visiting last October. My parents tell me they see used needles in parking lots most every day. The economy in their area of WV has been on a steady decline since the 1970’s & the population has dropped from close to 100k folks to barely 40k just in Huntington alone.
What a nightmare!
