Analysis: Why Was Andrew McCabe Abruptly Removed From His Post?
Townhall ^ | 29 January 2018 | Guy Benson

s you already know, FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe -- against whom President Trump has fulminated in tweets -- no longer occupies his position. CNN's Jim Acosta initially reported that the departure was 'mutual' and done on McCabe's terms, but multiple other networks confirmed that McCabe had be ousted. . . snip

Remember, Wray had reportedly threatened to quit rather than get pushed around by Trump's anti-McCabe raging. But now he's seen something so significant that it convinced him McCabe couldn't remain in his previous position for a moment longer -- and that something is apparently connected to the IG's review of the Clinton probe.

What did Wray see that was so "concerning"? Stay tuned.

Yeah, release the RAT memo too. With dueling memos out there, it logically follows that the ENTIRE IG REPORT be released so we can see who is right and who is wrong! Turn up the klieg lights and watch the roaches scurry.

As to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein. a few things jump out from the article. First, since Carter Page was under investigation BEFORE DJT was a candidate, there’s probably some “there” there and this is likely an apolitical decision by “Trump’s man.” So all we’re hearing is MSM spin trying to make DJT sound bad.

Also, whether Rosenstein is a democRAT or a pubbie can hardly be determined by who appointed him US Attorney. Cross-aisle appiintments are made all the time for horse-trading purposes.

That said, there’s so much politicization of the feebs that the entire top of the organization should be lopped off.

Another possibility is that Wray has proven an independence from the White House. He threatened to resign if McCabe was fired. Suddenly after reading the memo he is so concerned by its contents that he immediately does an about face and fires the guy he was going to resign over. This gives more street cred as to the importance of the memo. The MSM had gushed over the fact that Wray had threatened to resign. They turned Wray into a hero. The “hero” fires McCabe. The timing is perfect.

Wray having established his bona fides with the press can now credibally go after deep staters. The libs in the press will have to reverse themselves and lose what little credibility they have with the public as they are forced to write to the shrinking left fringe of democratic party.

Reports are those Wray threats were ‘fake news” and Wray surely knew the contents of the memo before it was officially shared with him.

Lots of moving parts in what’s going on, including some of these guys being blackmailed previously and now either singing to stay out of prison or even engaging in activities toward the potential exposure and prosecution of key players.

Even if you agree with former federal prosecutor Andy McCarthy that Rosenstein isn’t supervising the Mueller probe as robustly as he should, I’m troubled by the idea of Trump — who reportedly wanted Mueller fired in June — maneuvering to boot his own DOJ appointee.

This sentence makes no sense at all. If Rosenstein is actively working to undermine President Trump, and has conflicts of interest because of past actions, why would it matter who appointed him? President Trump certainly has the authority to fire him.

The only way for the sentence to make sense if you assume that the Mueller investigation is anything other than a witch hunt finangled into position by the deep state for the purpose of opposing President Trump.

Comey has admitted he pushed for the Mueller probe. Mueller is Comey’s mentor. It is likely Comey pushed Rosenstein to appoint Mueller. Rosenstein worked with both of them before. They are far from independent or unbiased.

Mueller, Comey, and Rosenstein are all buddies and co-workers who are neck deep in conflicts of interest in the Mueller probe.

It is bizarre that they should have been put in charge of an “independent” investigation that intersects many of their own past actions.

Hardly fact. Just another anonymous source. No confirmation at all. If you have found a source that this is fact, It would be quite interesting.

Nothing Acosta says can be believed. If he told me it was Tuesday, I would look at a calendar to be sure.

If it was McCabe’s decision, why did he rant and rail and threaten to torch the FBI???? (If other articles are accurate).

McCabe Ordered people Doctor 302s.........

Saw this on Hannity. Sarah Carter stated the IG is looking into the 302 claim and she cited her sources as being current and former FBI agents who believe that McCabe will be formerly fired within five days. She also stressed, from those same sources, that more resignations are on the way. Hannity added that HIS sources claim Wray was “shocked to the core” after reading the memo, and McCabe was told by him to not come in to the office on Monday. This is confusing given all the differing reports. Maybe McCabe saw the writing on the wall and tried to bail hence the resignation? At any rate, I don’t think the IG findings will be kind to him. in fact, if what Sarah Carter says is true it’s slam-dunk obstruction, at minimum, conspiracy to commit a half dozen crimes etc. Hoping Rosenstein is close behind.

...I won’t be satisfied until Comey-McCabe-Mueller-Strzok-Ohr are in adjoining cells. Sedition of the highest order...

Hillary should be pushing the feeding cart down the hall handing meals out through the bars while wearing an orange pants suit.

I still think Wray is a deep stater. This is the same guy that said he would resign if McCabe is fired which in my opinion is clear evidence he knew McCabe was corrupt and needed protection. In fact how could he not know this? Also Wray came out and said the FBI does not have the missing text messages! Who could have said that with a straight face? This guy is a dirty as they come same as the rest. Trump needs to fire him as soon as the dust settles.

I would seriously say anyone that works for the FBI or the DOJ in Washington needs to be fired.

DRAIN THE SWAMP !!!

Schiff probably can’t produce the memo yet. They are still waiting for Christopher Steele to finish writing it.

“I’m thinking the entire management teams at DOJ and FBI need to be ousted, most charged, and a lot thrown in jail.”

Do you think those “management teams” have allowed the hiring of decent people? Everybody there is just as slimy as the management teams, and they should all go...right down to the janitors.

Simple, he counted his vacation days and they were enough, as of Monday, to get him to his official retirement date to vest all his benefits. He probably wanted to stay to March (to extend his full pay a couple of months), but then decided he did not want to be around when the memo hit

That, and if he stayed in the FBI he would have had to make himself available for questioning, and answered the questions. Now that he is no longer employed, he can say pound sand, I'm taking the 5th.

The FISA memo triggered McCabe’s departure. Wray read it on Sunday, McCabe gone on Monday. I’m hoping most of the names contained within the memo won’t be redacted when it’s released, but I won’t be surprised if they are.
