The products are behind glass because some may think they are tide-pods and may eat them.

About 15 years ago, I went to my local Walmart to buy a shaver. All of the shavers were locked in a glass case. I had to find a clerk to get one. "I was angry, sad, frustrated, and humiliated all at the same time. It was so emotional it's hard to describe. I know there is a lot of racism out there, but I have never been faced with it up close." [/s] Oh, I am caucasian and so was the clerk.

Probably Walmart has those products under lock and key for a reason, and I think we all can surmise what the reason is.

Go to an art supply store and see which products are locked up.

One local shop has the spray paint cans under lock and key. Other closely-guarded items are sable paint brushes and those tiny tubes of Old Holland watercolor paint.

This lawsuit is all about perpetuating racial division. Gloria Alred knows exactly why the products are locked up. She also knows that all the publicity can only hurt the community she is claiming to defend. She is a disgrace.

Now, that is a quick-thinking response. Good job.

I’s say that they are so valuable that we lock them up to keep the white folk from stealing them.

Most grocery stores lock up baby formula. I guess that is racist as well.

Aren’t Howard and Morehouse Universities racist for their detector segregation .

Aren’t professional sports teams racist for their largely and really, monopolistic, hiring of blacks?

“One day the security lock alarm goes off in the laptop section and some dude comes striding out with a laptop stuffed down the front of his pants. It wasn’t even subtle; there was this huge, rectangular bulge and a screaming alarm right behind him”

LOL! Ah I remember those days of working retail.

I stepped into a manager’s office of a large grocery store to ask about something and noticed a flyer tacked to a board showing the dollar amount of shoplifting in the past month which ran into the mid five figures.

I was shocked and asked the manager about it who quickly pulled the flyer down and shuffled me out refusing to talk about it.

IMO, Wally World and the other’s should post weekly shop lifting figures on a sign board at the entrances.

It’s a problem and show it to the public. Damn those who will cry racism because some demographic areas will show higher amounts than others.

Many stores that sell black hair products are owned by Koreans. . . well-armed Koreans.

It is a cultural thing. The black population segment that shops at Walmart, at least some walmart stores, are thieves.

Walmart does keep a shrinkage total in the associates’ break room. Finding empty wrappers/packaging stuffed behind stock on shelves is not unusual. All of that when found goes to a bin in the backroom.
