I stepped into a manager’s office of a large grocery store to ask about something and noticed a flyer tacked to a board showing the dollar amount of shoplifting in the past month which ran into the mid five figures.

I was shocked and asked the manager about it who quickly pulled the flyer down and shuffled me out refusing to talk about it.

IMO, Wally World and the other’s should post weekly shop lifting figures on a sign board at the entrances.

It’s a problem and show it to the public. Damn those who will cry racism because some demographic areas will show higher amounts than others.

Walmart does keep a shrinkage total in the associates’ break room. Finding empty wrappers/packaging stuffed behind stock on shelves is not unusual. All of that when found goes to a bin in the backroom.
