Source: Strzok Hadn’t Seen Evidence Of Collusion After 10 Months On Russia Probe
Daily Caller ^ | 1/26/2018 | Chuck Ross

After 10 months of leading the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation, counterintelligence official Peter Strzok had not seen compelling evidence that President Trump or high-level campaign officials colluded with the Russian government, according to a person familiar with his thinking.

That account comports with a May 19, 2017 text exchange between Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page that was released earlier this week.

“You and I both know the odds are nothing. If I thought it was likely, I’d be there no question. I hesitate in part because of my gut sense and concern that there’s no big there there,” Strzok wrote to Page, his mistress.

Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson, the chairman of the Senate Homeland Security Committee, disclosed the “jaw-dropping” text earlier this week. He said that the message suggested that the FBI investigators had seen no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian government.

It was unclear exactly what Strzok meant by the message, but the source close to Strzok affirmed that interpretation of the exchange to The Daily Caller.

the source close to Strzok told TheDC............

Well how can it be both ways?....He set trump up or he found no evidence after 10 months. He is trying to use this text to prove he didn’t set trump up(since it must have been a piss poor set up)

The media will run with that...then point out he didn’t know what Mueller found out after he left.......

I’m hoping the memo will explain that curious fact. Rosenstein recommends firing Comey and then turns around and appoints a special counsel.

To me, the May ‘17 text message from Strzok should cause the special counsel to be terminated. There is the possibility that the special counsel is really investigating collusion and obstruction of justice by Obama, Clinton and DNC officials. Let’s see how this all turns out.

So the Democrats’ Mueller Fruit of the Poisonous Tree political campaign to overthrow the government should be ended now.

” ... there’s no big there there,” Strzok wrote

That’s what’s called a patent admission of a dry hole. From the guys who gave Hillary! a pass. Because they thought she would win.

Mueller re-assigned Strzok when he found out he as `rat hack.
So why are we still letting him continue with what is now demonstrably nothing more than admitted “resistance” by schlonged, butthurt Obamanites?

Who are Jim, Trisha, Dave, and Mike in the Strzok text?

Jim Rybicki, Baker or Comey and Trisha Anderson.

How dare you insult the fine memory of delectable Loretta Swit by association with such a foul metaphor, Sir.

10 Months, huh. I thought Comey repeatedly said Trump “was not under FBI investigation”.

They are on to Obstruction of Justice now

How can there be "obstruction of justice" where there is no crime to obstruct an investigation for? This is the major problem with starting a prosecution without having a crime to prosecute. We have a "special investigator" hired to go find a crime. Now are they going to try to make a case that their was obstruction by the target from them finding a crime?

OK, I figured it out: "Jim" is most likely:

FBI chief of staff James Rybicki.

He abruptly quit the FBI about a week ago:

patent= express admission
I confused admissions with defects: patent v. latent
Stzok’s text was an express admission.

Speaking of the she devil. She’s been amazingly absent and quiet lately.

This might be the most important little item in the news over the last several weeks. It's almost like she got packed away with the Christmas decorations.

I guess he was too caught up in thinking he was James Bond to notice her looks.

I imagine Page is one of those ambitious, DC careerist types who wants to prove how much she works, how important that work is, and how she fits in to the DC mandarin culture. Part of that mindset is being at the gym 4-5 times per week. Under all those sensible clothes she is probably quite fit.

Like a character in Burn After Reading, a Coen Brothers flick that does a good job nailing DC culture.
