WASHINGTON — Rep. Joe Kennedy III of Massachusetts will deliver the Democratic response to President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address next week.
House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Democratic Leader Chuck Schumer made the announcement in a statement Thursday night. They say Kennedy is “a relentless fighter for working Americans.” The 37-year-old Kennedy is serving his third term in the House.

If they call him a "Rising Star" you know the fix is in.
The question would be....out of a hundred people who might watch the State of the Union...against a thousand who will NOT watch it...you might have eight folks who watch the Democratic response.
Honestly, it’s about the most worthless speech given. Out of forty years, I’ve probably watched seven of them total (six of them Reagan’s speeches). Not to slam Trump but I’d probably sit and watch the History Channel or plan out my fantasy baseball team that night.
