Thousands of FBI cellphones affected by glitch that lost Strzok-Page texts, officials say

EXCLUSIVE: Thousands of FBI cellphones were affected by the technical glitch that the DOJ says prevented five months’ worth of text messages between FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page from being stored or uploaded into the bureau’s archive system, federal law enforcement officials tell Fox News.

The missing messages have been at the center of a storm of controversy on Capitol Hill, after the DOJ notified congressional committees that there is a gap in records between Dec. 14, 2016 and May 17, 2017. Strzok and Page are under scrutiny after it was revealed that the former Robert Mueller team members exchanged a series of anti-Trump texts during the presidential campaign.

Nobody noticed that tens of thousands of text messages weren’t being stored? Lots of people need to be fired, their clearances revoked, and their pensions zeroed out. Better yet, just disband the FBI altogether. It is an enemy agency of the United States of America.

The vague “federal law enforcement officials” say this.

I could see a vague anonymous source not being named for whistleblowing, but this would be exoneration. As exoneration, why isn’t somebody going on record?

That's their defense? We're not corrupt, we're inept!

Way to instill confidence in our top investigative agency.

And Faux News is stupid enough to believe this.
Faux can barely spell “Cell Phone” let alone how one works.

A wise person would ask a Qualcomm or Apple engineer how this could happen...
Faux asks a DC Lawyer.

If anyone can create an intentional Glitch it is the FBI.

And one that goes on for months? Those who work where the data is backed up would have to be in on it.
