White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders strongly reacted to the FBIs failure to preserve months worth of text messages between agents assigned to investigate President Donald Trump, in a Tuesday interview on Fox News.
Previous reports revealed that the two agents, who were involved in an extra-martial affair with one another, had sent each other texts disparaging Trump and praising former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. One of the agents, Peter Strozk, was one of the top FBI agents to oversee the investigation into Trump campaign and was deeply involved in investigating Clintons use of a private email server.
The justice department revealed it had lost five months worth of text messages between Strozk and his mistress in a Sunday letter to the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee. The justice department blamed the failure to preserve the texts on a technical error.
I do think there is great cause for concern, it is absolutely outrageous that this number of text messages have gone missing when we already know these two individuals were at the center of controversy from previously released text messages, Sanders said, adding Its quite convenient for them, quite inconvenient for the president to have this type of problem within our top law enforcement agency.
Anyone believe they ‘lost’ them?.............................................
The missing text messages are probably available on Craig’s List.
[Anyone believe they lost them?]
I certainly don’t.
But the liberals at uber-liberal Yahoo don’t blame the FBI, of course.
Those Dem bastards sure have trouble preserving evidence.
* Hillary Clinton smashed cell phones.
* Hillary Clinton “wiped” mail server.
* Lois Lerner lost email.
* FBI lost text messages.
* Awan computers disappeared.
I got in big trouble not long ago for not being able to locate ONE email. I found it an hour later buried in a folder in my mail program. A complex search didn’t even find it.
All companies I worked at had strict policies for records retention and I was involved quite a few times in the discovery process of law suits. We didn’t have the luxury of “losing” mails.
1. They are in the redundant backups.
2. They are in the files of the tele provider. There are two copies.
3. Call the NSA and get a fresh copy.
5. You can buy them from China and Russia for about 10 USD.
See how easy that was.
What is with these women named, ‘Sarah?’
From Biblical times right up until today, They. Kick. Ass!
Keep it up, Ladies! Love you! MAGA! :)
Yeah, and Sandy Berger smuggled classified documents from the National Archives in his socks and nothing happened to him. Laws are meant only for Republicans, doncha know!
Someone has them. Question is: is that ‘someone’ on our side or not?
No, they are GONE. My FBI told me so. Gone, gone, GONE. No hope of recovery. None, zero, zilch, zip, nada.
They will be found after they have been sanitized.
Check John Koskinen’s desk. They might be in there.
It isnt simply outrageous Mam; it amounts to nothing less than treason
It’s time for Republicans in Congress to do their job. Same goes for the AG. Some offices need to be cleaned up and refreshed.
If I remember correctly, the Clintons flushed and filled those offices during the ‘90s.
the OIG sought from the FBI all text messages between Strzok and Page from their FBI-issued phones through November 30, 2016, which covered the entire period of the Clinton e-mail server investigation. The FBI produced these text messages on July 20, 2017.
Following our review of those text messages, the OIG expanded our request to the FBI to include all text messages between Strzok and Page from November 30, 2016, through the date of the document request, which was July 28, 2017.
The OIG received these additional messages on August 10, 2017.

If one goes to their cell carriers website, you can see texts they have sent and received, at least ATTs does..
“No, they are GONE. My FBI told me so. Gone, gone, GONE. No hope of recovery. None, zero, zilch, zip, nada.”
There may be backups on a server in a certain guest cottage in Chapaquidic.
Oh wait! Nevermind.
That’s the metadata. Somebody posted a chart yesterday showing how long they keep the actual message itself. The average was about 60 days, a couple of carriers don’t save the content at all, and a couple saved it 90 days. Most save metadata 2 or 3 years. So it seems the carriers may be a dead end for the message content (unless the carriers lied about their retention policies which is not unlikely).
NSA is probably the best bet, but I’m sure they do t want to tip their hand. They never coughed up the Clinton emails. Or we were not told that the emails we did get came from NSA.
Depends on how hard they worked to try to get rid of them - would have taken a very dedicated effort to actually get rid of them - saying they are gone is the same as saying someone went to great lengths to obstruct justice and/or commit treason....
