This April, Harper will publish Chasing Hillary, a new political memoir from New York Times writer-at-large Amy Chozick, EW can confirm exclusively. The book will provide a remarkably intimate and deeply personal portrait of Hillary Clinton as she withstood two dramatic losses for the presidency.
Chozick’s book is the result of a decade’s worth of reporting on the former U.S. Secretary of State. Chozick’s front-row seat to Clinton’s presidential campaign implosion in 2008 led to her getting assigned the “Hillary Beat” through to 2016, when she’d once again face a painful defeat, this time in the general election to Donald Trump.
Overall, the book promises to read like a rapidly paced political novel, a memoir converging with one of the most controversial and notable political figures of our time.

Didn’t they say she had pneumonia? And she was being superwoman, decided to power through it all, even though she wasn’t 100%, because her campaign was so important, yadda yadda yadda???
I seem to recall some such talk at the time.
What’s unexplained, is why they zoomed to Chelsea’s apartment rather than going to a hospital, if they knew she was sick?
I’ve had pneumonia. It was awful. I was crawling instead of walking at one point.
It never made me go rigid like a board.
If this was a true expose as it’s called, Chozick would be a dead woman walking, but I ‘m sure it’s just another fluff piece...
Yes, that photo is quite something.

This woman is a total lunatic, and yeah there is something unclean on the inside.
I wonder what it was that caused her mask to slip that day.
It is really frightening to contemplate just how close this thing came to being president.

Have to admit that when she lost the nomination to Obama in 2008 I read all the articles I could find, devouring, and relishing, the massive dysfunction of the campaign of the so-called “smartest woman in the world!” Same for her second go against Trump. She just isn’t anywhere near the skilled politician her husband was. At my age, I expect I’ll have passed on before Chelsea’s run at it, thankfully. :)
I remember they said she had pneumonia and then she was on the street in front of her building hugging a little girl a few hours later.
