There’s a restaurant/ sports bar in Greenville, SC that has been refusing to show NFL programming on its televisions, until they stop the protests. Weather and health permitting, my husband and I plan to spend Super Bowl Sunday there.

I will be watching the rugby channel dot com and watching real team players play a real sport that DOESN'T include dangerous rigid padding, stopping the game every time the ball touches the ground, or 10,000 commercials, but has patriotic teams who stand arm in arm and sing their national anthems, and 40 minutes per half of hard-fought play at a time.

I am sorry for our Olympic Ski team for this blight on their Honor, Duty, Country, that is what being an Olympian means....Lindsey cheapens that.....

I don’t have a TV so watching the game isn’t an option. Most likely I will be working on my history podcast. Since the year began I have been recording episodes about World War II in Southeast Asia, and I don’t want to keep my listeners waiting.

Last year the only NFL I watched was the end of the Super Bowl. It was a good game and I’m glad I watched. This year Brady and company are back and likely to win again. I have no plans to watch this year but also no plans to do anything else but I expect something will come up.
