Demonstrations took a weird turn early Sunday, when the Jacksonville Jaguars playing an NFL "exchange" game in the U.K. took a knee in protest during the Star Spangled Banner. They then stood for God Save the Queen.
Both teams owners tweeted support for protesting players, explaining that they were behind their athletes "100%."

Good, I’m glad they lost!
Why in your first post did you ask who won the game when you were perfectly capable of googling the final score and finding out yourself?
It's because you want people here to understand that you personify the moral high road by boycotting the NFL and didn't watch the game.
That's virtue signaling. It's pretty easy to spot.
I saw immediately that it was an old thread. The poster wanted to give us an opportunity to engage in a little Schadenfreude, which I, for one, appreciate.
It’s like people who say they haven’t watched TV in decades and then you find them in another thread talking about the latest episode of Game of Thrones!
For the record, I'm a Broncos fan but I loathe the Cheatriots and live in Jax so I was rooting for the Jags.
It was a helluva great game. The Jags did me proud.
The Muslim owner of the Jags lost to the PATRIOTS!
Glad you're here.
We need more virtuous people like you to point out our shortcomings.
Muslim owner, couldn’t instill even a little respect for this great country!
The Brady Bunch just gave 'em a knee; too!
BOYCOTT THE SUPER BOWL!!!
Thanks for reminding me about you two, I tend to forget individual posters I run into and what I think of them. The context usually escapes me.
You are very welcome!
I saw no players we kneel story is from September
The Jaguars accomplished something today that I didn’t think could happen. They made the hated Patriots and Tom Brady into role models and heroes (at least for now).
Karma turns tears teal.
I couldn’t care less.
Yea, that should be painfully obvious. Next time I’ll use the sarc tag. Geez.
And that is a whole lot of projection on your part, that part about personifying the moral high ground. You must be in college. Where I come from it is called rubbing it in your face.
Virtue signaling...OMG. ROFL. They got a fancy term for everything these days.
Not like me, screw the NFL, and I am coming to the mindset of screw all professional sports and their over paid under educated and under appreciative players.
Crystal ball says lowest rated Super Bowl in history.
Thank you. :)
