Additional text messages sent and received by disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok have been handed over Congress, reports the Associated Press.
But the department also said in a letter to lawmakers that its record of messages sent to and from the agent, Peter Strzok, was incomplete because the FBI, for technical reasons, had been unable to preserve and retrieve about five months’ worth of communications.

.....I could not agree more. To send a message reaching out to the next 100 years to those wanting a Federal Bureau of Investigation WITH GUNS..............and as I have said before here on FR, the organization as we know it has become so corrupted from Top to Bottom that it must be bulldozed and broke up into 50 offices scattered across all 50 states and their guns taken away from them.
The name should be taken down forever and changed to Office of Political Corruption Investigators or OPCI. When they need a gun or some force, call the local sheriff. Then burn the FBI building to the ground and grow corn on it the next 100 years. All these steps and even more are necessary for these knuckleheads to get the message.
Here we go. Real obstruction of justice here. Not that fascist Democrats will care one bit about it.

There is no Constitutional authorization for an FBI (Or DOE, or other DOE, or ATF, or NSA, or CIA, or...), so let's kill it.

This is why sitting and holding back on public disclosure is a mistake. These scumbags work for US and they need a good punishment for their felonies.
The more time people spend yakking instead of prosecuting gives them time to destroy evidence.
The FBI should be zeroed out and rebuilt from the ground up. How many private citizens could get away with excuses like "technical glitches" or "accidentally erased" or "lost'.
That is now par for the course now with Governmental agencies when they don't want to disclose information. Imagine trying to tell the IRS that the cat walked on your keyboard and erased all of your financial records.

so do they have text messages between him and anyone else or Page and anyone else during that time frame? Or did somehow only the exchanges between those two get “lost”

I would be but I don’t think even the worst local corruption is anywhere near the FBI industrial strength brand of corruption.
Nah, just decapitate it. There are surely a majority of honorable, hard-working agents who don’t deserve to be punished for their bosses’ crimes.
After the swamp is drained, we have to start all the way from scratch. I hope DJT agrees.
