"Instead, like I did during his inauguration, I'll be working at home listening to Oregonians about what they think about the State of the Union."

Absolutely. My concern is that they are behaving more and more like cornered animals... I’m beginning to wonder if there is anything they will not do.
What the President should do is have supporters from each of the Districts occupy their Rep seats, and introduce them as representing Districts without Congressional representation during the speech.
the air will be fresher if they all boycott the speech.
Remember...... these are losers trying to do something that removes their loser image. Those that don’t show up are bitter losers adrift and unable to cope with the stain of losing.
Maxine isn’t going because she looks bad in black. Since she always looks bad, she looks worse in black. She wore the virginal white last time and still could not remove the loser stain

They only show up every few years to get their votes, then leave..Maxine Waters for example lives in Hancock Park, a rich affluent community not even close to the districts she represents..she only steps foot in them when she needs to win re-election

There is no legal reuirement to give a speech. Trump should write up a State of the Union document and have it sent to the Congress. Take that chance to whine and protest away from them.
Boycotting worked so well for them when Trump sat next to two empty seats on television. I can’t wait to see his comments if no dems show up at the SOTU.
