(Update 3:38 p.m.): President Trump reportedly rejected the deal presented to him by Sens. Graham and Durbin. There appears to be no acceptable deal on DACA.

As House Republicans propose an immigration bill conservatives could gladly support, Senate Republicans seem to be moving to the Left on immigration.
A bipartisan immigration deal to grant amnesty to so-called “Dreamers” and take steps toward securing the border has reportedly been reached in the U.S. Senate. The Washington Post reports that a group including Sens. Dick Durbin, D-Ill., Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Jeff Flake, R-Ariz., are presenting the framework of their DACA plan to the White House Thursday.
“We’ve got this bipartisan group, we’re at a deal,” Sen. Flake told reporters Thursday. “So we’ll be talking to the White House about that and I hope we can move forward with it. It’s the only game in town. There’s no other bill.”

I keep telling folks that as well Sarah......though it’s still early in these negotiations the Dems want Daca done NOW....I think Trump is willing to let it slide to march if they keep this nonsense up and refuse to give the right deal.

Fair point. A lot of us otherwise rock-solid Trump supporters (look up my postings) do worry about on immigration because Trump has certainly shown a soft spot in areas, particularly DACA. As it is, I don’t care how he gets to the right place, as long as he gets there (or stays there)...which, to me, means no DACA unless a complete wall is authorized and will get built, no lottery, and no chain migration.
I do realize that many (if not most) here would like no deal and simply deport them...and I’m fine with that too...and if Trump holds on the above, that’s where we’ll end up - the Dems are not about to permit real reforms when immigrants are their only path towards being a permanent majority.
As to Hantity and others - I note that he may have had some effect because Trump (rightly) does consult with him on a near-daily basis and no matter what what Trump hears from many of the Deep State near him, along with his family, Hantity and others will not play along - they will give him straight answers.
Regardless, it is just my speculating - I’m just happy with what I’m hearing from the White House, at least so far.
