WASHINGTONPresident Donald Trump said Thursday that an FBI agent once involved in the special counsels Russia probe committed treason, and he called for Republican investigators in Congress to conclude their probes swiftly.
In an interview with The Wall Street Journal, Mr. Trump, unprompted, labeled as treason a text message written by Peter Strzok, an agent at the Federal Bureau of Investigation who until late July was a top investigator on the special counsels team investigating whether Russia colluded with associates...

Strzok would not have behaved as he did without an institutional culture and acceptance of same.
The first thing that POTUS should do is direct the Attorney General to direct the Director of the FBI to cancel Strzok’s security clearance. Then reassign him to a desk in Bismark North Dakota. Then, anyone who discusses classified information with Strzok would be committing a crime.
Sometimes it takes smaller fish to catch the bigger fish.
“Why Peter Strzok has not been charged with treason is a mystery.”
Not surprising to me. Sure, he’s a scumbag lowlife, but under the law, can you say he was treasonous?
I don’t know. Any attorneys here want to weigh in?
Mr. President, tell us what you really think.
I love this guy. In a hetero way of course.
I get why Clinton, Huma, Comey et al will skate. Why they will never be charged for their crimes.
But a low level apparatchik like Strozk? He could easly be the judas goat. The fall guy sacrificed for the team.
If only we had an Attorney General interested in justice as much as he is in keeping that evil weed illegal.
If my memory is right, attempting to overthrow the government is treason.
Yes, wonder if the definition of the word “TREASON” is trending on the search engines.
I’m sure there are still a lot of decent people in the FBI. An ‘organization’ is faceless; but the people who make it up are individuals.
Treason, sedition, whatever — Let’s not get too picky. The legal details can be worked out when the indictments are written. :=)
Well, the investigation is not over yet.
This thing is going to go on for many more months, if not years.
Damn right, and it isn’t because “because they were critical of him”.
President Trump must have read the IG report draft.
Yeah, no spin there. Conspiracies to remove a legitimately elected President on fraudulent grounds are far more than "critical of him".
That’s right, and he worked for McCabe who is one of the biggest Trump haters in the bunch.
“IMO, the guy is guilty of attempting to overthrow the government. I think thats called sedition, and since more than one person was involved, its a conspiracy. They should swing.”
After 28 years of clintons, bushes, & O’muslims, for all intents and purposes, the federal gubbermint has been overthrown.
When people in positions of power turn the government into an enemy of the people that is called HIGH TREASON.
That’s what we have here. A conspiracy of high treason. That conspiracy spans the whole of the corrupt state. So many conspirators with no controlling legal authority in sight.
it is treason but this statement below bugs me....
” the Wall Street Journal reported that the president said the messages sent between Agent Peter Strzok and FBI lawyer Lisa Page in the summer of 2016 amounted to treason BECAUSE THEY WERE CRITICAL OF HIM.”
That is bullcrap...he didn’t say it was treason because they were critical. It was because they were doing treasonous things! UGH!!!!
Understood.
But it doesn’t hurt to keep our eyes on the big fish.
The most shocking aspect in all of this is: 1) Obama's name is RARELY connected with this plot and 2) NO ARRESTS.
Now onto the COUP attempt perpetrated by Mueller & Co. AFTER the election..
Trump’s on a roll today folks:)
