You have the right FReep name for a comment like that.

I guess we’ll know if the sheriff is like Juge Moore if Arpaio is nominated and leaves Phoenix the weekend before the election to attend a “critical” out-of-state football game.

Sheesh of course l blame GOPe for the vote splitting tactic. They have used it over and over to screw the base. Hell, that’s how we got McTraitor as the nominee against Obongo In 08. I think joe is great but he’s going to put McSally in our we’ll lose the seat.

If need be, I’d vote for McSally to prevent Arpaio from winning the nomination - and thus losing the seat to Democrats. And I’ve despised McSally since her A-10 days.

Arpaio has ZERO chance of winning the general election. It wouldn’t be close. A Democrat would prevent good Supreme Court justices from getting in.

Arpaio entering the primary is a godsend to McSally. He needs to drop out NOW. But he won’t.

I wish Joe would run against McShamey. Dr. Ward is the right person to replace Flake

And you plan to apply this to Trump in 2020?

My worst fear is we will be unsuccessful in getting the GOP to turn away from open borders, globalism and also away from the Chamber of Cronies. Thy appear to have learned nothing from Trump’s elections.

And refuses to debate his opponent, too. Yeah, that’s a winning candidate there.

“Joe is to damn old.”

Um...the correct spelling in this context is ‘too’, not ‘to’.

Still using Common Core in school, eh?

Like Roy Moore, Sheriff Joe has fought the good conservative fight. Arpaio should accept our accolades and ride off into the sunset of a wonderful retirement, something Moore refused to do.

That said, is it troubling to anyone that a hard core conservative seems to have little chance of electoral success in this day and age?

Joe needs to take his rocking chair out on the front porch and sit this one out. He has given his life to law enforcement in his own way. Yes, he is too, TOO old for this nonsense.

Then dead against it.

I’ll vote for anti-alzheimer medications to all congress critters rather than ANYTHING hurting Trump in 2020. Trump is who I’ve been waiting for my entire adult life. I’ll take the rest as it comes so that he has his chance to save us.

I agree- and a lot of my friends in Arizona thought he
should have retired too— 85 years old! and looking for a NEW career? he is bonkers- a legend in his own mind-

Trump pardoned him- he should call Joe and tell him to
retire gracefully

Arizona needs to change its Primary Laws. Only registered party members can vote and a runoff between the top 2 if more than 3 ran and nobody got over 50%. Otherwise Rino set- ups which split the Conservative vote will keep happening.

How did Arpaio win in the populous county for which he was sheriff?
