Controversial former Sheriff Joe Arpaio on Wednesday called former President Barack Obama's birth certificate a "phony document" in an interview on CNN.
"No doubt about it, we have the evidence, I'm not going to go into all the details, yeah, it's a phony document," Arpaio said on "Cuomo Primetime."
Arpaio announced Tuesday that he is running for the Arizona US Senate seat currently occupied by Sen. Jeff Flake, who is retiring from Congress at the end of his term.
He was a staunch supporter of President Donald Trump during the campaign, and was pardoned by the President in August. The former Maricopa County sheriff was convicted for defying a court order to stop racially profiling Latinos, and he has been widely criticized for his hard-line stances on immigration.
Arpaio has touted "birtherism" in the past, and, when speaking to CNN's Chris Cuomo on Wednesday evening, said he has proof that Obama's birth certificate is fake.
"We have the evidence, nobody will talk about it, nobody will look at it, and anytime you want to come down or anybody we'll be glad to show you the evidence," Arpaio said.
Cuomo pressed Arpaio again on the topic: "So you believe that President Obama's birth certificate is a phony?"
"No doubt about it," Arpaio said.

Fortunately, it seems like Trump’s got a good team that is making inroads on the filth, and when the fumigation gets to all the dark recesses in the body, what we’ll see is one giant, Leviathon-Beast cockroach lit up in neon. The whole treasonous cabal will be recognized in the coup of 2008, the coup of 2012, and now the attempted coup of 2016.
Obama’s birth certificate may be phony, but its time to move on. Obama isn’t president any more and talking about it in a Senate campaign is useless.
Obama may have been born in Hawaii, but the birth document released by the White House I agree is a digital forgery. Ditto Obama’s draft card. Great effort has been made to conceal many aspects of Obama’s early life. While Obama’s mother had a relationship with Barack Obama senior, Barry’s real father could also be Frank Davis. That would destroy the whole narrative of his African roots that launched his books and political career. Also being concealed is his Indonesian citizenship that he used to obtain status as a foreign student in college. Obama’s whole life is a fraud.
Huh? Then what the hell was he doing making an appearance on CNN in the first place?
Why do you think Chris Cuomo even raised the question about Obama's birth certificate in the first place? Because they know it's a losing issue for Arpaio and helps paint him as exactly the kind of Republican candidate CNN wants in that Senate race.
I kept my mouth shut during the GOP primary in Alabama last year, but I'm not going to do it here. Please stop pushing a fringe candidate who couldn't win a U.S. Senate race in Arizona even if you only counted the votes from his own family members.

Attacking Democrats on FreeRepublic is like attacking Babe Ruth at Fenway Park. If you really want to impress me, attack him at Yankee Stadium instead.
If Barack Obama stood up tomorrow and told the world that he pulled off an enormous fraud to win a presidential election in the U.S., there really isn't a damn thing anyone can do about it.

I have seen some of the evidence, including the original BC that was used to copy key information. I have verified that the angle of the print for key fields does not match other fields but does match exactly the angle of all of the print on the copied BC. So he is not full of sh!t.
Although it is appropriate to acknowledge the investigation, why go into details that the Democrat Media would distort and use as a distraction. They would do that by attacking what he says, not the actual evidence. If the Democrat media wants to raise an issue, make them use the evidence as a source, not quotes from Arpaio.
Love him but he’s now making noises because he wants to run for Senate - not gonna support him unless he ends up being the last one standing and hoping that doesn’t happen.
Well, if the original documents have been destroyed and witnesses eliminated, then yes.
HI conveniently uses a system where representations of originals have been certified legal equivalents of originals, so whatever the representations purport to prove is prima face proof - especially if the originals don’t exist. Burn the originals, surreptitiously tweak the data, expire the witnesses (so tragic a coincidence that O’s grandmother died just before BC investigators interviewed her) ... sometimes truth is a dead issue.

That’s an easy question to answer. Because CNN asked. He simply responded to the question. They want to show early and often than Sheriff Joe is nuts, “just like Moore.”
I know you’re being sarcastic, and no, I don’t think it’s a good campaign slogan. But I do believe Obama had a lot of suspicious stuff in his background and his birth certificate was certainly one. So, yes, I do believe the Sheriff.
