US troops and their allies will shoot Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militants in the face, beat them to death with shovels or drop bombs on them if they don't surrender, the US military's most senior enlisted member has said.
In an eyebrow-raising set of postings on social media on Tuesday, Command Sergeant Major John Troxell warned that ISIS members who refuse to quit will be dispatched with "extreme prejudice," including via a small shovel known as an entrenching tool.
"If they surrender, we will safeguard them to their detainee facility cell, provide them chow, a cot and due process," Troxell wrote on Facebook.
"HOWEVER, if they choose not to surrender, then we will kill them with extreme prejudice, whether that be through security force assistance, by dropping bombs on them, shooting them in the face, or beating them to death with our entrenching tools," he added.

How is that different from killing them without extreme prejudice? Seems redundant.
There’s killing them and then and then THERE’S KILLING THEM!
We don’t kill anyone who don’t need killing! (Paraphrasing Christofer Walken)
New rules of engagement now in effect !

Barbarians like that bring on their own deaths and in the most barbaric nature available if necessary.
Die hateful Islamic scum, die.

The Fraud would have put this hero in Leavenworth for insensitivity to the enemy or something.
Um why cant we have both options? Order doesnt matter.
If they surrender, shoot them for cowardice.
I have a colleague that was part of the first small teams in Afghanistan. Great Guy. He worked with the locals on horseback. One telling thing he mentioned was the FEAR both the people he worked with (locals) and the enemies had of the US Soldiers. Some of them thought the US Soldiers had magic powers. A large part of this was the technology we were using. 12 Special Forces guys with laser targeting and access to missal strikes and air support brought a lot of munitions on enemies. Apparently, the locals were also very intimidated with the size, strength and stamina of the Americans. In one story, my colleague shared, they were targeting caves where Taliban were hiding (locals helped find targets). From a distance, the Americans would aim their box at the cave and the cave would blow up and the earth would shake. This was magic to them.
Point is, our enemies on the battlefield fear us. They can’t help it. Most of these 3rd world turd fighters cannot fathom the type of war America can bring. So the tough talk feeds and plays on that fear. It is as strategic as it sounds bullish. They understand the threat.
I would like to see an announcement that says, “If a terrorist or a group of terrorists enter you Mosque, you should leave. There is a good chance it is about to be blown up. There are no safe places anymore. Rules of engagement are off.”
George Patton, Chesty Puller, and Curtis LeMay are smiling down on that Command Sergeant Major right down... beaming with pride.
I’ll tell you what war is about, you’ve got to kill people, and when you’ve killed enough they stop fighting. General Curtis LeMay
Killing Japanese didn’t bother me very much at that time... I suppose if I had lost the war, I would have been tried as a war criminal.... Every soldier thinks something of the moral aspects of what he is doing. But all war is immoral and if you let that bother you, you’re not a good soldier.
General Curtis LeMay
Love your “shovel-ready job” idea. OUTSTANDING irony.
