It was awful when the wind and sand started blowing at about 35 mph, sustained. Before that, it was pretty good.
I’m going to try to get some sleep since my nap was interrupted by mother nature. LOL! See ya tomorrow night!

Yuck!!! Not a day to go outside, that’s for sure! Not with the sand blowing like that.
It appears that’s in store for us - - the wind, not the blowing sand. I looked out the kitchen window a minute ago and the Rose of Sharon branches are dancing big time. The wind’s kicking up and it’s already been a blustery day and night.
Good night and I hope the wind’s calmed down enough to allow you a good night’s sleep.

Such a tragedy that Holly died so young. All the great music still inside that was never written and sung by him.
A big loss.

Usually sitting at my computer...LOL!
Upstairs is my room, guest room, office, living room, dining room, and kitchen. Everything was upstairs and comfortable for Mom when she could still get around.
Downstairs used to be my Mom’s office, a family room, and a bathroom and laundry. Then out the door into the garage. No outside parking for me. d:o) I have been known to leave without a coat and still wearing crocs.

LOL! I did, didn’t I.
This week has been as bad as, or worse today, than a pay week. We now have a construction company and Ruthe has been doing ALL the testing and we help as we can. And they get paid weekly and they are laborers...not the most stable of occupations, so terms and hires are continual. So tonight I am working on Ruthe’s other units. Just finished and I’m going to bed.

You sure did. That move was smooth as silk. LOL!
I wondered what they were doing to y’all with work since you obviously got stuck with some sort of homework this week. Boy, the hits just keep coming, don’t they?
Bet thoughts of retirement crop up more and more often as each week goes by. :-)

Digital thermostats and smoke detectors that rely on batteries are not the best, but at least they are an easy fix!
Glad you got heat back!

Peaches went outside, so I did sleep good. Not that much wind till this morning, and as I look out the back window, I see more dirt in the air. Ick! *ah-choo*
It’s still 50 degrees, so that’s not so bad. Tonight in the 20s. Sounds like y’all will have it worse than us yet again.
