Florida GOP Rep. Ron DeSantis asked Speaker of the House Paul Ryan on Tuesday to declassify all of the Department of Justice and FBI’s Trump dossier files, The Caller News Foundation has learned.
DeSantis, the chairman of the House Oversight subcommittee on National Security, formally asked Ryan in a letter to invoke Rule X in order to declassify all documents obtained by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
Under House rules, the speaker of the House acts as an ex-officio member of any select committee, which includes the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. Under Rule X, the speaker along with a majority vote by the committee can allow for the disclosure of “any information in its possession after a determination by the select committee that the public interest would be served by such disclosure.”
After five months of defying Congress, the Department of Justice and FBI agreed on Jan. 3 to provide the Intelligence Committee with all of its documents on the Trump dossier, an unverified document based on unnamed Russian sources about President Donald Trump. The documents are classified and barred from public review.

Since I was 18 years old I handled and used some of the most sensitive classifications out there and until I was stationed in DC none of the stuff I used should ever be declassified.
Once I got to DC I saw documents that were classified just to keep them out of the hands of the citizens, who probably would have taken the heads of numerous politicians and DoD bigwigs. Too many documents are stamped with a classification to keep us from seeing how corrupt and wasteful our government truly is.

Interesting. I read it the same way. Feinstein is definitely a rat, but every now and then when it comes to national security she has moments of clarity.
No, Feinstein wants to lead GPS Fusion’s side of the story while keeping the facts secret. This guy wants to call her bluff.

I believe her husbands company has the contract to build the VA facilities. Definitely don’t want to piss off the big man, especially one who knows construction.

I think sending all this stuff to Wikileaks would be an act worthy of the Congressional Medal of Honor. It’s not like this is national security stuff, it’s just embarrassing to Democrats who don’t want their dirty little schemes to be known.
