The White House is asking for full funding for the border wall, new authority to prevent another surge of illegal immigrant children and restrictions on so-called sanctuary cities all be included in any bill to grant legal status to illegal immigrant Dreamers.
President Trump’s proposal, sent Friday to Capitol Hill, instantly roiled the debate, with Sen. Richard Durbin — Democrats’ chief negotiator in the discussions — saying his party was prepared to risk a government shutdown to avoid giving in to the president’s demands.
The Homeland Security Department has specifically asked for authorization to build about $18 billion worth of new fencing on the border, sending long-awaited details of the plan to Capitol Hill.
And the department reiterated that Mr. Trump’s October list of priorities must be part of the discussion. That list included the crackdown on sanctuary cities, new authority to reject bogus asylum applications and to quickly kick out new illegal immigrants, and a change in the current patterns of family-based chain migration.

NO AMNESTY! Give these illegal alien “dreamers” chance to finish their US taxpayer paid education and THEN GO HOME. And if we cannot accomplish that simple exit. MAKE SURE NO CHAIN MIGRATION BEGINS WITH THEM. To get to stay, they must turn in and their illegal alien families MUST GO HOME, never to return!
Amnesty is coming. I have no doubt in my mind. Sadly the political winds of changed on the issue. Polls show a majority favor a pathway to citizenship for illegals.
Only if we get funding for the wall, an end to chain migration and end to the lottery visa. I’d also like a hard push for e-verify so illegals find it too hard to find work here. Make it so every single employee, even current ones, have to pass the e-verify program to stay employed.
Take away the carrot and no stick will be needed for them to self-deport.
Let the dems run on ruining America for American citizens and see how far they get with that. The days of wanting anyone to come here and work ended nearly 100 years ago. Nowadays they need to be vetted for skills we need or a work visa for farm work. We have yelling for these things my entire life with no one in DC willing to listen. Finally we have the right person in charge who has some courage.
If Democrats were smart they would cough up whatever Trump wanted from them...

Last night on one of the Fox stations, Ann Coulter said the “Dreamers” should be the first to be kicked out — even before MS13. In the end, they’re more detrimental to America.
That sign the woman is holding is so offensive. First, the horizontal words and the vertical acronym make absolutely sense together. Second, the moniker, “dreamer”, is immensely offensive — as if only Mexican kids have dreams. Conservatives need to word-bomb the media with something else for these people. “Parasites”, maybe.

No it wont..we get the wall fully funded. ..take down sanctuary cites..restrict future dreamers from entry.....for allowing 700,000 to stay(providing they are law abiding citizens..pay their share of taxes)...i say do it...we are not going to be able get everything we want....i think its a good trade.

I hope that this bill includes the end of chain migration, the end of lottery migration, and the end of birthright citizenship (anchor babies).
And the more the President says what he wants, the more deranged and insane the Left and the Dem’s will get. He’ll drive them over the edge, for all the world to see.
