Michael Wolffs new book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House flew off bookshelves early Friday morning despite efforts by President Donald Trumps legal team to stop the publication and distribution of the book. The book soared to #1 on Amazon.coms bestseller list just hours after the UK Guardian scooped the world by publishing details from a print version of the book that had been delivered to a book store in New England.
The book purports to quote Breitbart News executive chairman Steve Bannon, a senior White House adviser at the time, who allegedly criticized a meeting that Donald Trump, Jr. and campaign officials had with a Russian lawyer in July 2016 in the hope of gaining opposition research on Hillary Clinton: Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad shit, and I happen to think its all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately.
Charles Harder, a private attorney for President Trump, sent Wolff and his publisher, Henry Holt and Co., a cease-and-desist letter on Thursday demanding a full retraction and apology, according to USA Today.

Book stores ought to promote it as the book the President doesn’t want you to read. That will jack sales even higher.
Trump Dossier Part II
Good going, Steve.
Fake News; Fake Book.
Fire starter, page by page, for the fireplace.
MAGA - Go President Trump keep exposing America’s corrupt, treasonous human waste. Gitmo doesn’t have enough inhabitants yet.
It’s gossip and rumor mongering. Of course large numbers of people love it and will pay money to read it.
The answer can now be, "Yes, strenuously. We even attempted to enjoin its publication." Then, it's a question of suing for contract violation and damages without the defense (Bannon) saying that there was implicit approval of the publication, of which Trump had advance notice.
My take, FWIW.
I wish I had a fireplace so I could use it for kindling.
Oh...THAT kind of “Kindle”.
My mistake...but I like my idea better.
The people that want this book don’t really care if its true. They just want their feelings validated. They want to read lies.
Hard cover tabloid.
Breitbart (Steve Bannon) posted this?
Screw them and their anti-Trump agenda.
It will go to #1 by just selling 10K or so, it doesn’t take a lot to get #1 spot. Lets see what it’s selling a month from now.
I saw stop posting bullcrap about this book on FR.
it’s a gossipy vile bunch of crap and REAL things are going on this is NOT ‘NEWS’
You beat me too it! Arrrgh
I was posting a vanity then gave up and said the next book thread I’ll post Trump Dossier Part II.
Yes both have:
Salacious content
Dubious origins
Attempt to take down a duly elected sitting president
The dossier by way of immorality. The book by way of insanity
The Kendle version is going for $14.99.
The hard cover is going for $20.98 / discounted from the $30.00 list price. (gak!)
I didn’t see that Trump issued an executive order banning the book like Obama did with his personal records.
You are 100% correct. The liberals are desperate to believe ANYTHING negative said against Trump is true. They don’t even care the author himself admits some of what’s in the book is untrue and some I’d nothing more than opinion (his).! The number of people grows daily who dispute what is in the book and attributed to them and this seems to not matter either.
Remember also that there’s a lot of bad stuff coming out now about the Democrats and the collusion between them and the FBI and fusion and this is a distraction and that is why they’re pausing the media hyping this thing to the limit they can.
You are 100% correct. The liberals are desperate to believe ANYTHING negative said against Trump is true

Conspiracy theory: Trump and Bannon know this all too well. This whole book and the plan to release it with shenanigans between He and Trump at the same time orchestrated for sales?
What’s really in the book that is criminally damning? My guess is, nothing. It works toward both their goals, in the end
“I didnt see that Trump issued an executive order banning the book like Obama did with his personal records.”
Exactly.
Why were our presidents’ personal records not made public?
This book has a suspiciously high review rating, considering his other efforts, so with its 255 customer reviews I thought I would see how many were fake. Evidently there isn’t enough real reviews there to give an analysis on Fakespot. That’s not suspicious at all!
