There have now been at least 18 classified emails discovered on Anthony Weiner’s laptop, Judicial Watch reports.
According to the conservative watchdog group, five previously unreleased emails were among a batch of 147 documents related to Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, which the State Department released last week.
Chris Farrell, director of investigations and research for Judicial Watch, said there is no confusion over the sensitivity of the emails.
“They were classified when they were written. They were classified when they were transmitted and they were classified when they were residents on the Weiner laptop,” he told told FOX Business’s Lou Dobbs.
Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton slammed former FBI Director James Comey for being aware of what was on the laptop but not disclosing it publicly.
"These are classified records that James Comey and his colleagues ... knew were on the Weiner laptop, but didn’t take seriously enough to pursue criminal charges against Abedin or Clinton for allowing this egregious abuse of trust that the American people placed in them," he said on Fox News's "Tucker Carlson Tonight" Thursday.
The cache includes documents sent from Abedin's "clintonemail.com" account as well as from her Blackberry. Comey told lawmakers earlier this year that he belives Abedin regularly forwarded emails to Weiner for him to print out so she could give them to Clinton.Judicial Watch had filed a lawsuit against the State Department requesting all official emails sent or received by Abedin on a non-state.gov email address.
Weiner, a onetime Democratic congressman, began a 21-month prison sentence last month after being convicted of sexting a 15-year-old girl. Abedin has filed for divorce from Weiner, with whom she has a six-year-old son. (FoxNews.com)
"It wasn’t just low-level classified materials that were found in the Clinton email server," Fitton added, "but there were highly top-secret documents of the most secure type and it would have resulted in a criminal prosecution, I guarantee you, if you were anyone else but the Democratic nominee for president."

I was listening to a couple of talking heads discuss Hillary’s book and the bad title. A woman suggested the title should be, “Screwed by Wiener.”
obviously this has all been known for a year. why the drip drip now?
I think the plan is to indict Comey very shortly.
Huma was sending classified emails from Clinton's illegal server to her home to have Weiner print them out because if she printed them on the State Department email system they would become part of the State Department archives and they would all get busted
I guess Huma was telling the truth when she said her emails were difficult to print out at work on the State Department computer system, but it was not for lack of IT or administrative / secretarial support- it was because the documents were illegally obtained and handled and if Huma used normal channels Hillarys server would be exposed, they would be caught and prosecuted and the documents would be part of Federal records and subject to FOIA

Just discovered, huh. No, they’ve known about the entire data of the computer within the first couple days.
All the speculation about what was classified (the memos he wrote) and what was not .... and now it turns out that ALL 7 of them are classified. I don’t know how they cannot go after him for leaking those memos.
Comey’s rationale is what I’m curious about - why, knowing the consequences for leaking classified info, he would do it anyway.
a. He is in la la land and considers himself a white knight riding to the rescue of the FBI, the country, etc., a hero above reproach & he figured everyone else would see him in the same light.
b. He figures no one has the brass to actually come after him.
c. He hates Trump SO virulently that he would do ANYTHING to get rid of him & leaking to force a special prosecutor was his last, desperate attempt to try and make it happen.
d. All of the above.
I vote “d” ... I think it’s a little of all of it. It will be a happy day if/when Former FBI Director Comey, all 6’8” of him, is handed his official orange jumpsuit. Then again, his tweets are weird ... I wonder if he’ll submit himself to that or think that dying a “martyr” better suits him so he makes it happen.
There's the treasonous action right there.....all wrapped up in a neat package for a judge to consider.

It’s far, far too late for that. Comey is in this up to his eyeballs. He intentionally leaked classified material. He’s done. Finished. Stick a fork in him.
He will be lucky if he avoids a lengthy prison stretch.
Now if only we had someone who was in charge of the DOJ. You know, someone who could order Grand Juries to be convened, instruct prosecutors to follow evidence wherever it leads, and then get indictments.
