Justice Department reopens Hillary Clinton email investigation
Washington Examiner ^ | 01/014/18 | Kelly Cohen

Posted on 01/04/2018 9:06:02 AM PST by Bodleian_Girl

The Department of Justice has caved to pressure from the White House and is reportedly reopening the investigation into former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

According to the Daily Beast, there is a new effort in the department to get new details on how Clinton and her aides — including former top aide Huma Abedin — handled classified material. The effort will look at how much classified information was on her private email server, and how that information got there.

President Trump has continually questioned if and when the Justice Department would reopen its investigation into Clinton. He tweeted on Dec. 2: “Many people in our Country are asking what the ‘Justice’ Department is going to do about the fact that totally Crooked Hillary, AFTER receiving a subpoena from the United States Congress, deleted and ‘acid washed’ 33,000 Emails? No justice!”

Last week, conservative group Judicial Watch won a lawsuit against the State Department and released emails showing that classified information was on the computer of Abedin’s then-husband Anthony Weiner.

The FBI previously investigated and declined to criminally prosecute Clinton for her use of the email server. But Trump and his supporters used the email debacle as a rallying cry throughout the campaign.

The findings from a separate Justice Department’s inspector general probe into how the FBI handled the email use is expected to be released sometime this spring.

Hillary’s server is a ultra-sized version of Alger Hiss’s dumbwaiter. Hiss stored State Dept. documents in his home in the shaft of a dumbwaiter before passing them via dead-drops. The Pumpkin Papers were then passed to the Soviets by leaving them in dead-drops such as the infamous hollowed out pumpkin.

Am not a legal type, but if the person under immunity doesn’t live up the immunity deal, (ie, lies etc) I believe the immunity deal becomes invalid. May have heard this on tube somewhere but can’t recall exactly. In essence, I’d lean towards the affirmative on this issue, given misbehavior per the original immunity agreement.

Washington Examiner is not fake news. It’s one of the most reliable of the news media.

Good summary Palmer.

My theory was that Clinton had to be nominated as an insurance policy against being indicted. Any prosecution would be framed as political persecution, and no jury would convict. While the “legal system” probably won’t even attempt to serve the justice required ... Obama and HRC reputations keeps sinking further in the swamp of corruption/illegalities. Had HRC been elected, none of these revelations would have been revealed. History will not be kind to them.

I’m wondering how long this investigation will take?

As long as is necessary to be able to stand in front of TV cameras and exonerate her without smirking or breaking out into laughter at the premise that she was truthful and didn't break any laws...

Heads up on this is probably what caused the fire at the Clinton’s home this week.

Anything that might ever be subpoenaed in the future, will no doubt have been lost in this fire, like the many firearms lost in boating accidents among Freepers.

Unfortunately, all the remnants from the fire are hurriedly being put through a grinder/shredder, and dumped at sea. Due to simple administrative oversight, the GPS coordinates will be lost. Just another Thursday at the Clinton’s.

As delicious as having IT report to Super Max prison would be...I would prefer that she just died. The sooner she is dead and gone, the world will be a better place for it.

As long as she is alive, there is a chance for a pardon. Dead is forever. With good riddance.

Unfortunately, I suspect that poor Humidor, overcome by guilt, will sneak into the Empire State building in the wee hours of the AM and jump off the observation deck while shooting herself in the head several times. Poor Humidor! Of course her suicide note will have been left with her dear confidant, Shrillery.

Hopefully an orange jumpsuit and a 2018 Merry Christmas.

If Cankles goes down, so does the Clinton Foundation and crime family.

no, they gave him immunity.

Immunity granted as a result of FBI malfeasance isn't worth the paper it's printed on. We'll see how that pans out.
