Donald Trump Jr. Tweet about Steve Bannon

Steve had the honor of working in the White House & serving the country. Unfortunately, he squandered that privilege & turned that opportunity into a nightmare of backstabbing, harassing, leaking, lying & undermining the President. Steve is not a strategist, he is an opportunist 2:14 PM - 3 Jan 2018

Thank you! I honestly don’t know how Trump is sticking it out. Everybody around him is just selling out like mad, and no US president (except possibly Lincoln, another ungainly and blunt spoken person) has ever been attacked so much.

I didn’t like him when he announced his run, since I thought of him mainly in terms of his juicy divorces as reported in the tabloids in NYC, and I voted for him only reluctantly - but now I think Trump is the only one who could have been wild and crazy enough to get us out of the left-wing pit in which Obama (not to mention the weak GOP-e) had left us.

took a 2 second search.

And you give me a youtube link. I hate watching videos.

So okay, i'll accept that as good enough that the commentary from Trump is probably real. Now what have you got for proof of the commentary attributed to Bannon?

I'll give you two seconds. If you can't find it, stop acting like an @$$hole.

You’re welcome!

As a New Yorker, I understood his wonderfully pushy and aggressive personality. He has made everyone around him (except his loyal sons and wife) collapse like paper angels, lol.

Steve Bannon is an alcoholic slob. There, I’ve thought it for a year and now I’m saying it openly.

He was arrogant enough to think he was smarter than President Trump.

And now we are thinking for Bannon instead of listening for what he has to say about the matter?

A lot of people certainly like to jump to conclusions.

And, I think that we’ve all seen that a lifetime of good things can be undone by one monumentally stupid mistake. Nobody like a Judas. Nobody.

It’s simply a misdirection squirrel!

Bret Baier led with this junk from Wolfe’s book and Bret was so giddy I dare say he wet his pants...he so wants to nail President Trump.

Our President is definitely over the target....he’s taking tons of flak!

Is there any chance it is Wolff making these things up and not Bannon?

If Bannon's remarks were fake new, you'd think the president and his son would be calling it as such.

Yeah, I’d hope the Trumps would have checked with Bannon before going off on him, or that Bannon would have corrected the record.

Where did Bannon do that? All I heard is some lying liberal @$$hole said something like that in a book, but i'm looking for some believable proof that Bannon said such a thing.

Wolff cites Bannon in his book as saying the following:

Bannon went on, Wolff writes, to say that if any such meeting had to take place, it should have been set up “in a Holiday Inn in Manchester, New Hampshire, with your lawyers who meet with these people”. Any information, he said, could then be “dump[ed] … down to Breitbart or something like that, or maybe some other more legitimate publication”.

Bannon left the White House and returned to Breitbart as Executive Editor. Would someone who was essentially the big boss as Breitbart SLUR his own publication, one he lead for years after the death of Andrew Breitbart, one he has pushed as being MORE legitimate in accuracy and truth, and go on the record for publication in a book as a source that would be less than a “legitimate publication” than other news organizations? I seriously do not think so. That would be de-legitimizing his own work and organization! As I said elsewhere this is a Liberal’s wet dream of a quotation!

Would Bannon claim his own organization was somehow less than legitimate? No.

I think you are right about this. This doesn't smell right. It doesn't sound like something Bannon would have said or done.

I've seen commentary elsewhere that this "Wolffe" guy is well known for making up sh*t.

This sort of stuff does appear entirely too coincidental at times, doesn't it?

As an early member and reader of Brietbart, I can tell you that once Andrew died, that sight slowly at first and then very rapidly, was ruined, made far too damned big, and went off the rails.

And no doubt Bannon was part of that mess. So, NO, I wasn't happy when he came aboard the TRUMP TRAIN! Neither did he last long and it's really Trump's fault for taking on all kinds of people who were NEVER meant to be part of any political team; especially NOT part of Trump's!

This is the sort of crap that Michael Wolffe puts out.

"Donald Trump didn't want to be President."
