NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Country singer Carrie Underwood is bringing in 2018 by sharing more details about more injuries that she suffered after a fall that broke her wrist.
In a blog post to fans on New Year's Day Underwood says she sustained a facial injury that required 40-50 stitches and that she's "not quite looking the same."
She says that she is grateful the injuries weren't much worse and for the people who have helped her since the November accident. She also cautioned fans that she might not look the same when she's ready to be seen on camera again.
"I'm hoping that, by then, the differences are minimal, but, again, I just don't know how it's all going to end up."

I didn’t know she mocked President Trump; disappointed to hear that because I like her. Damn.
Despite that, 40-50 stitches on her face...that’s one hell of an injury. Prayers she recovers without disfiguration.

That’s true. I watched it and thought it was funny like the old days when you could make a joke without getting political.
It was on AXS last night on Sling TV I was watching that plus the George Jones tribute.
She's also very pro-homosexual, pro-gay "marriage", and ant-2nd Amendment.

Where did she fall from, an indoor balcony? I don’t wish that on anyone, especially a woman.

Just a few days after hosting the CMA Awards, the 34-year-old singer fell on the steps outside of her home and suffered “multiple injuries” — including a broken wrist, her rep tells PEOPLE in a statement. She also was treated for cuts and abrasions at the hospital on Friday before being released, according to the statement. Her husband Mike Fisher, whom she wed in 2010, traveled back to Nashville overnight to be with her.
“Her recovery will take some time and she appreciates all prayers and well wishes,” Underwood’s rep said.....
