When I worked in the corporate environment, the department managers got the phone bills & went through it to see if all the calls were company facilities. And we were salaried, professionals. This was worldwide company policy. When the internet came about (thanks Algore) only managers had connections & were authorized to use it.
Back in the day, when I was pretty good at partying, my friends and I would stay home and play board games to avoid amateur night and all the crazies.
Currently, I am working for one of the world largest IT company, No office phone, no fix seat. Use skype business for calls or use your own personal phone and dial company 800 number. Perks free lunch, lot of parties and work from home.
Thanks for the full length video. Watching Trump, you notice he is a complete master. He is always pushing ahead - “We are going to do this, we will get that done, when we get it done, you’ll love it...”
In a joking/prodding way he sets challenges & goals for his people. “Gen Kelly had 78%, that’s a tough number to beat, buy your’re going to do it right?”
It’s his nature & he is relentless in pushing, pushing, pushing forward. Never give up, never give in.

We had a worldwide, corporate exchange number that you dialed first to make intra-company calls. Any number that wasn’t intra-company had better be a company business related call.
Then you would also need to explain any call that jumped out if the duration was too long.
We were salaried & expected to work at least 10 hours a day (no overtime paid) & most likely 1 day on the weekend or you were a slacker.
I was a manager in the corporate world for many years and had to discipline many for excessive personal calls, etc.
When my youngest daughter got a job where her sister lived and moved there, she was on my cell pho e plan. This was back when every call, anywhere was not unlimited. I got this huge bill, looked at it, and it was her, making all these calls during her work hours! I told her if she was working for me she would be fired. She paid the bill and never did it again. She is now a manager and has the same personnel problems, LOL.

Now that is funny but sadly probably true.
