Currently, I am working for one of the world largest IT company, No office phone, no fix seat. Use skype business for calls or use your own personal phone and dial company 800 number. Perks free lunch, lot of parties and work from home.
We had a worldwide, corporate exchange number that you dialed first to make intra-company calls. Any number that wasn’t intra-company had better be a company business related call.
Then you would also need to explain any call that jumped out if the duration was too long.
We were salaried & expected to work at least 10 hours a day (no overtime paid) & most likely 1 day on the weekend or you were a slacker.
