A woman who requested a female nurse for an intimate procedure was given an “obviously male” member of staff with stubble and tattoos, who claimed to be a transsexual.
The National Health Service (NHS) patient said she was “embarrassed and distressed” when summoned by a nurse with “an obviously male appearance … close-cropped hair, a male facial appearance and voice, large number of tattoos and facial stubble” to carry out a cervical smear, The Times reports.
When she pointed out what she thought was a mistake, the nurse told her off: “My gender is not male. I’m a transsexual.”
Speaking after the examination, which she ultimately decided to abandon, the patient said it was “weird where somebody says to you: ‘My gender is not male’ and you think: ‘Well, what does that even mean? You are clearly a man.’ ”

The patient is fortunate to have received an apology, as police guidance could easily have allowed the trust to report her complain as an anti-trans “hate crime“, or at least a “non-crime hate incident“.

What about some poor, decent 21 year old man who just wants to meet a nice young woman, fall in love with her, get really married, and have kids with her, who runs into a fake manufactured “woman,” marries the thing, and discovers he’s been burned.

If you were a medical supervisor and someone asked for a female nurse for reasons of embarrassment, what would be going through your head to send over such a “female?” Probably an opportunity to get even with the complaintant. The supervisor is the one I’d like to see appropriately disciplined, though her/his hospital would probably just praise her/him.
If you haven't seen it, Netflix has the first three seasons on disc. Six episodes per season. There's also a Christmas Special from the year 2000, and a video of "The League of Gentlemen: Live at Drury Lane" (2001) that you can probably find to download online. Plus, there is a full-length movie titled "The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse" (2005). They just did a three episode anniversary Christmas special this year. Funny stuff.
