Can't help but think of the transgender taxi driver Barbara in the BBC comedy series "The League of Gentlemen" (1999-2002)

If you haven't seen it, Netflix has the first three seasons on disc. Six episodes per season. There's also a Christmas Special from the year 2000, and a video of "The League of Gentlemen: Live at Drury Lane" (2001) that you can probably find to download online. Plus, there is a full-length movie titled "The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse" (2005). They just did a three episode anniversary Christmas special this year. Funny stuff.

Sounds hilarious, until it’s your wife or daughter sitting in the gyn’s office.

Ever seen "The World According to Garp"? This stuff was a lot easier to laugh at in 1982.
