Can't help but think of the transgender taxi driver Barbara in the BBC comedy series "The League of Gentlemen" (1999-2002)
If you haven't seen it, Netflix has the first three seasons on disc. Six episodes per season. There's also a Christmas Special from the year 2000, and a video of "The League of Gentlemen: Live at Drury Lane" (2001) that you can probably find to download online. Plus, there is a full-length movie titled "The League of Gentlemen's Apocalypse" (2005). They just did a three episode anniversary Christmas special this year. Funny stuff.
