Iran: Revolutionary Guard kills 3 protesters

The Revolutionary Guard killed three Iranians participating in a Saturday night demonstration in Iran's Loerstan province, Saudi Arabia's Al-Arabiya network reported.

The string of protests, which began Thursday night, call for an end to the Iranian government's policies and corruption.

Those supporting the Iranian government claim the protesters' main complaint is rampant unemployment and the corruption Iranian President Hassan Rouhani is currently fighting.

According to Fars, seventy students protested at Tehran University, throwing rocks at local police and chanting "Death to the dictator."

Reuters reported that protesters elsewhere in Tehran had also been arrested, and in the western towns of Shahr-e Kord and Dorud, Iranian authorities used tear gas...

Meanwhile, Iranian media claimed the demonstrations were the responsibility of US, British, and Israeli spies seeking to "stir unrest" in the country. The state-controlled IRINN said it had been banned from covering the demonstrations.

How can you say that? Europe, Syria, and Iraq all showed that no civilization can endure the buildup of those who want to tear civilization down. Even many US cities are not surviving. Look at Venezuela. With modern technology, it's almost impossible to stop the bad guys from wreaking havoc. Countries now more than ever need strong governments who keep a grip, unless they exert just about total control of who lives and visits there.

This is seeming way too much like manipulated regime change which benefits Saudi Arabia and Israel, because they do control their internal environment and increase power if countries surrounding them fail. I do hope this President isn't buying into regime change. One issue that got him elected was that he was opposed to meddling in foreign governments.

I don’t think America should intervene militarily in Iran. Covertly, yes, but with caution, with emphasis on cultivating a secession movement in the Akhwazi region. I cite China as an example of a country that endured a prolonged period of total chaos, its sovereignty disrespected in the worst way, and eventually it settled on its own internal gyroscope, ingrained in it by millenia of civilized habits. Communism merely was the philosophy that it happened to to adopt. But Taiwan and Hong Kong, both capitalistic, did the same within their respective borders, because Chinese civilization is that durable.

Iran has already had one revolution in recent memory. It was taken over by Shiite fanatics who have been busily undermining the civilized values long-ingrained in Iranian society from the times of the Sasanid monarchy. It can withstand another, long-overdue revolution, hopefully triggered by the secession of the Akhwazis with their oil fields, and then stabilize around their internal gyroscope.

Eventually, the same process will occur in Europe, but right now the sh!t is still getting sprayed around by the fan there.

Syria and Iraq are bad examples. They were run by totalitarian, fascist regimes for decades. That’s not civilized society, merely the repression of society to enforce order.

Manipulated regime change that benefits Saudia and Israel? What? By not getting nuked and not having an arms race? Well, yeah, that benefits everybody, including the Iranian people, who would otherwise be obliterated in a counter strike. But above all else it would benefit the Iranian people, because they would no longer have their lives run by corrupt, parasitic Muslim clerics who want to nuke neighboring countries. With a free and independent Akhwazistan that owes its emancipation to the United States’ support, you would have a pro-American member of OPEC, and a de-clawed Iran with no oil to speak of, even if the Mullahs do manage to hang on to power.

As for Venezuela and American cities, they are of the new world. North Americans have democracy ingrained in their psyche, but not civilization. Venezuelans have neither.

We respectfully disagree. The very survival of civilization is at stake. The enduring problem....too many people, too little that provides focus in their lives. Any vacuum will be filled by them. We’ve armed, trained, and enabled anarchists in Syria and Iraq, among other places. I seriously doubt that those who live in the countries the US has destabilized say they’re better off now. The exception would be those who have benefitted from doing the US’s dirty work in destabilizing their countries and plan to be propped up to take over. If there’s any country that stands out for a disgusting ruling party, it’s Saudi Arabia. Yet they’re our ally. I do wish President Trump would get out of the Mideast, like he campaigned, and worry about bringing stability to the US.
