Despite a hundred different ways congressional investigators have asked the question, and despite numerous on-camera questions to FBI and DOJ officials about the 2016 FISA process, no-one had definitively confirmed the Christopher Steele ‘Russian Dossier’ was the underlying evidence for the 2016 FISA application to gain wiretaps and electronic surveillance upon presidential candidate Donald Trump. This is critical and important because the specific use of the Steele Dossier underpins the BIG UGLY and exposes the entire top-tier apparatus of the FBI Counterintelligence Division (Peter Strzok, Bill Priestap, James Baker, Andrew McCabe) and the DOJ National Security Division (John Carlin, Stuart Evans, Mary McCord and Sally Yates), as well as DOJ Bruce Ohr and FBI lawyer Lisa Page directly to “conspiracy” charges.
The 2016 FBI counterintelligence operation was surveillance on the Trump Campaign and was thinly disguised under the fraudulent auspices of a FISA warrant, sold as a defense of U.S. democracy from Russia, which permitted the wiretaps and surveillance etc.

Wouldn’t surprise me to learn Steel worked with Comey, Mueller, the clinton’s,obama, DNC ..CNN ..all of the above to create the fake dossier.

I don’t get this obsession with “Q Anon” and why some people have to think there is this secret order influencing everything behind the scenes, pulling the strings - when we already have a champion right out in the open: President Donald J. Trump?
He’s everything you could ever ask for in a hero, and he speaks in plain truths, for everyone to hear. He’s nobody’s puppet and doesn’t need to reveal secret messages and use decoder rings to do it.
So why all this obsession with “Q anon”, whatever that is? Isn’t it enough that we finally have a strong president working to restore Liberty? Does there have to be a secret society behind it?
Does this kind of thing appeal to certain Dungeons & Dragons, DeVinci Code types, who need to feel they are part of a chosen few disciples who know what is going on?

I don't think it is likely he was involved in the early stages of the dossier. I haven't seen any reports that suggest McCain knew about it before the election, but it highly possible since the detestable Harry Reid was squawking about the dossier at the end of October. Since the dems are in the minority, they needed some never Trumper Rinos like McCain to thwart Trump. Senile old McCain was the perfect conduit to make it look bi-partisan.

There was a post yesterday wherein the fbi was quoted as saying they still believe much of what was in the dossier was true! As in credulous as that sounds they must say that or admit it was a set up. They are planning on using the defense they gave Clinton in modified form: there was no bad intent for what they did. So we need a buster prosecutor to turn one of these bums to spill the beans.
Now in paraphrase if a truth nugget of great import arises and no one cares to see it does anything ever happen?

If the use of the dossier to obtain the FISA warrant is confirmed, then President Trump should make a prime-time, oval office address to the country, laying out all of the facts behind the corruption of our governmental institutions and announce that he is shutting down these witch hunts. If done in that fashion, I’m sure that an overwhelming majority of the American people would support him.
Where did that come from? It would seem to be very signifigant if genuine.
