House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes has issued a subpoena to David Kramer, a former State Department official who, in late November 2016, traveled to London to receive a briefing and a copy of the Trump dossier from its author, former British spy Christopher Steele. Kramer then returned to the U.S. to give the document to Sen. John McCain.
Kramer is a senior fellow at the McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona State University.
McCain later took a copy of the dossier to the FBI's then-director, James Comey. But the FBI already had the document; Steele himself gave the dossier to the bureau in installments, reportedly beginning in early July 2016.
It cracks me up that McCain sent his loyal aide to the U.K. to be briefed by Christopher Steele. Upon the aide’s return to the U.S., McCain dutifully delivered the dossier to the FBI ... the same FBI that had the dossier all along — in fact the FBI helped fund the dossier.
The Keating Five scandal should have been enough to bury McCain.
Nothing sticks to him for very long. His reputation as a war hero can’t cover who he truly is.
But, his anti-Trump, recently, and his anti-American behavior over the last 35 years, is undeniable!
Charlie wilsom’s war - wasn’t that about a senator funneling money towards the fighters in Afghanistan....With McCain, it’s more about the corrupt senator shown in the movie “shooter” starring Marc Walhburg...so many of our politicians are self serving egotists and power hungry narcissists!
Do you think it would bother him to know it was a democrat dirty trick???
Hell, no...He doesn’t care...He’s one of them....
I do.
About only two people: John McCain and Ted Kennedy (long may he rot).
Don’t hold you urine yet.
The Mistresses of Mirrored Halls Looking At The Corrupt DOJ Side of Operation Trump
I doubted, too, but he looked like hell being wheeled around in a wheelchair recently. I think it's real.
“McCain obtained a copy of the now famous “dossier” and brought it to the FBI, before the election”
No he didn’t - from the article:
“David Kramer, a former State Department official who, in late November 2016, traveled to London to receive....a copy of the Trump dossier...Kramer then returned to the U.S. to give the document to Sen. John McCain.”
I still think McCain has much to answer for, but for what he did AFTER the election.
Hes not dead and moldering away in the cold ground yet? Whats taking so long?

Congress is preparing a day-long McCain love-fest for the day he finally kicks off, where they blather on about what an incredible patriot he was, how happy they were to work with him, and how they wish every Senator could be as fine, noble and wonderful. Democrats will join in, also pointing out the rampant racism of every living Republican, the joy of killing unborn babies, their plans to confiscate money from anyone who still owns any and their plans to chop off men’s penises (except ones they’re attracted to, of course) so that males can finally be free of being sexist pigs.
I think it’s going to be the most nauseating day in Senate history . . . but I don’t mind a bit, because at least McCain will be dead.
McCain is the only one who can say he’s not a hero. I don’t believe he has cancer. Everything he says is a lie.
And the rumor is that Ted Shackley of the CIA wanted in on Wilson’s business and was turned down. That was the end for Wilson. There is are no loyalties in covert government business.
” I dont believe he has cancer. Everything he says is a lie.”
I’ve been wondering about that myself. He knew he was in deep doodoo with the dossier scandal and figured he’d be protected from public derision by being seriously ill.
He’s been a traitor for a long time. I’m not surprised by anything I find out about him. Rot in hell McCain.
McCain has been a eager patsy of both ISIS (or visa versa)
and some at the FBI (who created the odious dossier
to coverup and continue Pizzagate and the murder
of judges and witnesses).
Seems karma has come back around upon, McCain, in a couple of forms....
How did McCain get involved in the first place. The DNC, Clinton Campaign, and FBI paid Steele.
Just a hunch, but I wonder if Papadopolous, an ethnic Greek, not an ethnic Russian, was source E. Consider: Papadopolous was an unvetted grifter who drifted from the Carson campaign, where he was a notorious do-nothing, to Trump's "foreign policy advisory team," which was staffed by nobodies like Carter Page because the GOP in-crowd wanted nothing to do with Trump. Papadopolous is not being paid by the Trump campaign, and he's young and has no apparent source of income, but as soon as he's on the Trump team he's off to London which is not a cheap place to hang out and far from the daily operations of the campaign. Yet soon he's emailing Manafort about linking up the Trump people with Russian officials - and Manafort is shooting him down. Papdopolous is also spending time in Greece, where Greek politicians and officials are under the impression that he's some big shot in the Trump campaign, and he's wined and dined. He's also a serial liar and fabricator, a guy with Muchhausen's syndrome, who likes to talk big. A guy like that might want to talk to Christopher Steele or Steele's contacts, especially since Steele was offering money. Which is also how he may have become of interest to the FBI. Papadapolous was arrested in July 2017, but it wasn't disclosed until October, and apparently in that interim it's speculate he was wearing a wire. Now, during that interim, it's unlikely that he was talking to the Trump people, because they knew that he was an idiot and was not in consideration for any official post. But what if the FBI had the wire on him trying to "confirm" the dossier, which would make sense if Papadopolous was a source for Steele. But they came up with nothing because Papadopolous is either a serial liar and fabricator, or possibly, he was a Democrat plant all along. Stay tuned.
Being a POW/”war hero” was probably the only thing that kept him from going to jail over the Keating 5 scandal.
