Charlie wilsom’s war - wasn’t that about a senator funneling money towards the fighters in Afghanistan....With McCain, it’s more about the corrupt senator shown in the movie “shooter” starring Marc Walhburg...so many of our politicians are self serving egotists and power hungry narcissists!
And the rumor is that Ted Shackley of the CIA wanted in on Wilson’s business and was turned down. That was the end for Wilson. There is are no loyalties in covert government business.

Great movie. Although that Ned Beatty character was Alpha, McCain is Beta at best.
