House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes has issued a subpoena to David Kramer, a former State Department official who, in late November 2016, traveled to London to receive a briefing and a copy of the Trump dossier from its author, former British spy Christopher Steele. Kramer then returned to the U.S. to give the document to Sen. John McCain.
Kramer is a senior fellow at the McCain Institute for International Leadership at Arizona State University.
McCain later took a copy of the dossier to the FBI's then-director, James Comey. But the FBI already had the document; Steele himself gave the dossier to the bureau in installments, reportedly beginning in early July 2016.
McCain, recovering in Arizona from treatments for cancer, has long refused to detail his actions regarding the dossier. For his part, Kramer was interviewed by the House Intelligence Committee on Dec. 19. The new subpoena stems from statements Kramer made in that interview.

John McCain has been a traitor to the Republican party for a long time. Not enough bad can happen to him.
Its easy to forget: McCain and Hillary are close friends. Like, hang out and eat lunch together, friends.
McCain did this FOR Hillary because he wanted her elected - and - so that Hillary could erase THEIR involvement in Benghazi. ie, arming ISIS. Because letting friends illegally arm terrorists under the table to get kick backs for yourself often makes a person look bad when the public finds out.
I have always believed that McCain took a dive during the ‘08 Presidential campaign - for Hillary as a personal favor - but then Obama happened and McCain and Hillary were caught flat-footed; because they are old and stupid and vain. Its why McCain’s own staff was undermining Palin.
There is a blackmail file on him that must be world class. His behavior is of an owned man. I have almost as much contempt for him as I do the Clinton’s. Nowhere near Soros though.
Looks like McCain is being set up to be scapegoated - not that he doesn’t deserve it but yeah blame it on the dead guy - I guess McCain doesn’t have much time left.
I know. Government stooges have made it into a science. Titles that make it so official sounding. CA state has so many titles, many have no idea what these people do all day.
I’ve known what he actually is for a long time. But at this stage I will not bang that drum. What is important is that all who tried to destroy Trump by lies should be exposed and tried and convicted and punished.
That is being very mild.
