With hard news relatively scarce on this Boxing Day, I turned—for my sins—to the opinion page of the New York Times. And there I found Paul Krugman’s Christmas Day column. His latest jeremiad was curiously entitled “America Is Not Yet Lost.” If this is the optimistic Krugman, I’d hate to see the glum one!
My headline reflects my pick for Krugman’s most atrocious line. The full sentence reads: “If American democracy survives this terrible episode, I vote that we make pink pussy hats the symbol of our delivery from evil.” But beyond that, Krugman’s column was a veritable cornucopia of condemnations of all things conservative/Republican.

Can anyone explain what this means? The only threat to Democracy I see is a bunch of Federal Employees in very powerful positions attempting to overthrow the will of the People who Elected Donald J. Trump as President.
People like Krugman have no problem with Conspiracy and Sedition when it benefits their own Ideology.
I was thinking of starting a business selling MAGA pink pussy hats. You can gift order it and have it sent to your favorite feminist or politician with a personalized card.
