“Let’s start by deporting the DREAMers,” quipped Ann Coulter in a Monday-aired interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with Breitbart News’s Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow. The status quo of demographic change wrought by immigration — both lawful and unlawful — must change in order to “save the country,” said Coulter.
Describing DREAMers — those targeted by the Obama administration’s Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) policy and subsequently proposed bills seeking to codify it as federal law — as “the most annoying people in the universe,” Coulter jestingly recommended prioritizing the most obnoxious cohort of illegal immigrants for deportation:
It has to be said that many of the legal and illegal low-wage workers, they’re incredibly hard workers, they’re really nice people, and it occurred to me … that I actually like all of the illegal immigrants except the DREAMers. They’re the ones I want deported first because they’re the activists. They’re the obnoxious ones. They’re the ones who go to congressional offices and stamp their feet and say, “How dare you not rush to grant us amnesty?” Whereas the other illegals don’t have the time to be protesting; they’re busy working, being polite, being so friendly and nice and saying, “Merry Christmas.”
No. Let’s start by deporting the DREAMers. That’s point one.
Without border security to halt the flow of foreigners illegally immigrating to America and deportations of swathes of foreigners illegally in the homeland, it is “lights out for America,” added Coulter.

I don’t have strong feeling about it one way or the other, but the “dreamers” I’ve met (there are a billion in NJ alone /s) have little to no ties to the country of their parents. They often don’t speak the language very well, and were very young when brought here. For years a blind eye was turned to their parents’ crimes by our government at all levels, and that further entrenched them in this country; many remember no other home. I am VERY reluctant to give them full citizenship (particularly regarding voting rights and access to freebies) right away.

At least no citizenship (voting rights) ever, though the courts would probably force that upon us.

It’s discouraging to see that bogus term “dreamers” applied to DACAns here on Free Republic by a freeper.
Furthermore, their criminal status as children notwithstanding, the children of criminals who invaded the USA illegally became criminals, by choice, when they became adults and remained illegally in the USA. They had the option of returning to the countries of which they are citizens, or applying for legal USA citizenship, or both. They chose not to. They are criminals.
It's no accident that Democrats intend to pack the voter rolls with criminals to the Democrats' advantage, with illegal immigrants, convicted felons, et al. The Democrat Party is not only the Party of Slavery, Jim Crow, the Ku Klux Klan, Segregation, Racism, Communism, and Totalitarianism; it is also the Party of Crime, whose great advantage is the support of CRIMINALS.
In addition to what you said, they are still line breakers. They are jumping the line ahead of all the people trying to immigrate to the USA legally and enduring the wait time and bureaucracy and paying the fees to do so.
ADD: end the diversity lottery VISA and all social benefits including education. The only social benefit should be sufficient medical care to assure humane and immediate deportation.
So the parents are illegals. Let the kids stay, and the parents get to stay via chain migration? Nope.

I believe that many opinions here would be different if the Dreamers and Illegal Aliens would assimilate.
Heck, I would throw in a nice box lunch with quality ingredients. But Ann is right: I am tired of groups demanding SPECIAL treatment. I don’t get special treatment and some of my ancestors were here before the Jamestown Colonists landed.
I believe that is the law in Mexico, isn't it?

Perhaps, but not me. We either have borders, laws, and enforcement - or not.
The bleeding hearts, and that includes a lot of GOP, act as if these so called "Dreamers" deserve more than good old home-grown AMERICANS. They don't deserve any special treatment - they've lived off the generosity of America all their lives!
As for Madoff's family: I have absolutely NO SYMPATHY for them. They lived like royalty before bernie was caught, and I doubt they are doing poorly now, probably still better than those he defrauded. Criminals, even "white collar" criminals need to consider the impact on their families before committing the crime.
In other words, They kicked the can further down the road, and we all hate that.
If I let a trespasser pick my lock, sleep on my couch, eat my food and then use my address to get their mail, I would no longer have a home. Then they want to bring in their kids and let them have all my benefits.
We should have called 911 on this decades ago.
Since supposedly they are all military heroes and high school valedictorians, let’s keep those Dreamers and send the rest back to Mexico.
I’m sure that’s probably 5 or 10 at most.
