If anybody feared that the upcoming Chappaquiddick movie would be a whitewash of Ted Kennedy, the recently released trailer should disabuse them of that notion. Legal Insurrection describes the movie as the "portrait of a weasel." Kate Erbland of IndieWire reviewed it as a Compelling Teddy Kennedy Biopic That Pulls No Punches.

Everyone should go watch it wearing a neck brace.
Great idea!
I always wondered how he got out and she didn’t especially if he was drunk.
Long story short...Teddy listened to them for a couple of minutes and then basically gave the the bum's rush...telling them he had another engagement and thanked them for their time.
Turns out that the parcel of land was sold to a big time contributor to Teddy and the Rat Party.Of course nothing came of it because the Rats controlled everything back then and the press couldn't have cared less.
I dont go to the movie theaters, but once every few years. I so much more prefer the comfort of home even if that means waiting.
You will be pleasantly surprised that many movie theaters have reclining seats now. Ive only been once and really liked the comfort. The price is the same so if you go, you may want to go to one that had upgraded the seats.
Like we didn’t already know?
I won’t be going to see that sleazebag and relive what he did to that poor girl...no matter what her status was, she didn’t deserve what happened to her!
CONSERVATIVES, that's who.
I don’t know. From what’s known so far about the film, there still seems to be plenty of room for this to be a whitewash in the end.
What would a Hollywood movie be like that claimed to be a “Compelling Clinton Biopic That Pulls No Punches”? Liberals will say that if they include *any* criticism whatsoever in a film, then it’s a “brave” movie and they congratulate themselves on being honest.
But given that he was a Democrat, and from such a prominent Democratic family no less, it’s hard to imagine that the movie won’t in the end explain Ted’s sins and make him out to be just a “good-hearted” victim of his circumstances.
Darkest Hour sounds like more of a must-see, about a great man at his best. Ted was a sleaze. Of course. So what.

Here is the documentary that I mentioned in an earlier post (Chappaquiddick - Ted Kennedy Documentary narrated by Ian Holm). It was made in 1994. I think the theory posited in this documentary answers most of the questions that other theories don’t with the exception of one.... how did he get back to his hotel. However, there are probably quite a few logical explanations for that detail.
Does the film mention that he was a democrat?
Mary Jo can't be saved, but there is a WHILE LOT of opportunity here to ensure this kind of horror isn't repeated. NOTHING is over until we decide it is, indeed.
For example, a favorite if not eccentric British TV, Radio presenter named Jimmy Saville was a sexual predator all his life, but it wasn't made public until after his death (though it's worth noting some people tried when he was alive, including Johnny Lyndon). With nobody around to defend him, Jimmy's name is now mud.
Who's gonna stand up for Ted? Elizabeth Warren? Bill Clinton? Al Frankenstein? Matt Lauer? BRING IT ON!!
The memes will write themselves. Trump tweets will be magnificent. This is the NEW field of play in the marketplace of ideas. People will be converted, sexual predators will look over their shoulders (and maybe get throttled like in the good old days), and maybe, just maybe, things can turn around. Oh boy is this GREAT!?
Deplorables would do well to develop a plan to ensure, in the midst of Democrat sexual predators being on the out, to use this new movie and the inevitable (re)introduction of Teddy to a new generation of Millenials and others in the light of truth. From there, maybe Deplorables can seize back the mantle of compassion and morality from these statist thugs posing as compassionate liberals.
Excellent point. No one will defend him. For that reason, bring the truth on.
May I live to see Hillary, Bill, and Barack experience their deserved legacies, too.
See Darkest Hour, well done and worth seeing.
looks to me as though history is catching with whomever did JFK...and they’re out to remind us all that the Kennedy’s “deserved it”
Whatever else they did or may have done, the Kennedy’s all got in the way of a lot of self-important people
We’ll see if the final cut really tells the truth. Mary Jo
should have a statue in her honor in DC. Her sacrifice is the only thing that kept the despicable piece of shit out of the White House. As it was he is the reason we lost control of the illegals. We have him to thank for chain migration.
