Cashiers is deep. I only take it when coming out of Waynesville and have time to spare. It is mountain roads from there to Hendersonville.

I didn’t realize there was a good snowfall through the mountains. They’re beautiful with snow but sure aren’t fun to drive through with all that mess.
Did that once several years ago, going back to Raleigh after visiting my parents here. It was slushy stuff too. Got back in one piece but my hands were cramped from gripping the steering wheel so hard. LOL
