Full title: Revealed: Bogus 'Trump Banned Words at the CDC' Story Was Rooted in Suggested Guidelines From Liberal Bureaucrats

If you're just joining this flap, here's a short recap: Late last week, it was reported that Trump administration officials at the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) had sought to "ban" words they deemed to be controversial, including "transgender" and "fetus."  This sparked an immediate outcry, as Orwellian censorship rarely plays well with the American people.  The Trump-hostile media were in full throat, pounding the table against this anti-science outrage.  The original story ("forbidden words") appeared in the Washington Post, then spread like wildfire...

CDC's director took to social media to dispel these reports, swatting down what she called a "complete mischaracterization:" ...

Additionally, the New York Times quoted administration sources who debunked the "ban" claim, explaining that the new guidelines were merely (non-mandatroy) suggestions about how to present topics in budget-related documents, not scientific or medical content...

Amazing: The "banned" words were never banned, and were dreamed up as part of a list of suggested guidelines for budget documents by career (non-Trump-appointed) bureaucrats who were trying to avoid 'triggering' Congressional Republicans through the inclusion of those terms...

Once again, the Left is busted accusing Trump of their own offenses.

Yeah, but trust the lying left to repeat this canard to low-info voters until it become truth. In 5 years, you’ll still hear “Trump the fascist banned the use a whole list of words”. We’ve seen countless such examples like the lie that “Trump mocks a handicapped reporter” or when Clinton saying with a straight face that “Trump admitted to groping women”, without a single MSM prestitute correcting her.

The media have become an out-of-control criminal entreprise, so notions like truth, ethics, backfire, shame, morale ... mean nothing to them.

Not surprised.

When I saw the Washington Post headline last week, that was my first instinct.

My thanks to the Conservatives who had the tenacity to research this issue, and my thanks to Evening Star for posting.

Listening to Limbaugh today and a woman called in to his show. She was a President Trump supporter, but was vocal about his use of Twitter and his continuing to attack people and the media. And, I will admit that I think sometimes, he should just stay off it. But, when you look at the job he’s doing and still having to defend himself, on what seems like an hourly basis, imagine what he’d be doing if he had some cooperation.

But, sometimes the guy has to do something to put a stop to the non-stop barrage of bulls*t they fling at him. They want to disagree with him, that’s cool. But, what they do is taking it far past disagreement. And I don’t blame the guy for wanting to stand up to them, even if that means he gets a little sideways, sometimes.

Fakebook’s talking point for nearly 7 days is that Trump was a NAZI, an “Orwellian” (COMMUNIST) despot.

The DNC brownsh!ts had their laugh and Fakebook, NPR, and other FRAUD sites spread fake news and political hate without any cost to their “authority” to flag other news sources as “fake”.

AP’s style guide sways issues likes abortion, illegal immigration, etc and prohibits use of neutral or conservative terms.

These agitprop types know their own games and project the tactics as being of “the other side”.

IOW, career bureaucrats were trying to adjust the language of their correspondence in order to better snow the Republicans in Congress. Thanks EveningStar.
