Claims have resurfaced that the FBI offered the British spy behind the 'golden showers' dirty dossier $50,000 to corroborate his claims about now-President Donald Trump.
'I believe, just from examining the public sources, that the FBI offered Christopher Steele $50,000 if he could corroborate the dossier. He either couldn't, didn't, wouldn't, and they didn't pay him the money,' news analyst Andrew Napolitano told Stuart Varney on Fox Business Monday.
Former MI6 agent Steele's dossier claims the Russians possess compromising information that could be used to blackmail Trump, and alleges the Trump campaign colluded with Russia during the 2016 election.
Napolitano appears to be basing his claim on an April report from the New York Times, which cited two sources claiming that an FBI agent met Steele in Rome in October of 2016, just weeks before the presidential election.
The agent offered Steele $50,000 if he could get 'solid corroboration of his reports', which the FBI ultimately never paid out, the report said.
Last week, Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein refused to tell the House Judiciary Committee whether the FBI had paid or offered to pay for the dossier.

Excellent point.......we continue to hear about Watergate decades after it occurred but the largest mass killing in the history of the United States has been swept under the rug!?

They should be indicted, but I have zero confidence anyone will be held to account for this obvious coup attempt. Congressional investigations are almost useless, Sessions is useless, the President’s hands are tied, and Mueller keeps rolling along. It’s a truly horrifying turn of events.

The focus is on a woman named Nellie Ohr, who is married to a top Justice Department official named Bruce Ohr. Why she was working with the group Fusion GPS – which was paying a former British intelligence agent to put together the Trump Dossier – is certainly something of note.
Who investigates the FBI? This is some serious breach of ethics and appears criminal.
How does a person who voted for a Communist get to be head of the CIA? We’ve been so compromised as a nation. Think about what you would do, if you were in a secret planning committee decades ago that was developing ways to compromise the US. You would use the US open society as an opportunity to infiltrate the reigns of political power and dissemination of information. You would push ‘open door’ policies to accomplish rapid demographic shifts and thus destabilize. You would push economic policies that led to massive public debt, and massive consumer debt. All of this has happened, and is happening.

Think of what this means to people working in law enforcement, who risk their lives everyday wearing the uniform:
