Stop viewing Putin through Cold War lenses, view him through historical Russian lenses.
Looking at him that way doesn’t make him our pal. It does make him some one we can do business with when the need arises.
And unlike the Obama administration, which was warned about the Tsarnaevs by the Russians, the Russians actually heeded our warnings.
