The story is baffling and sadly, from a number of articles I have read, it does look like a murder-suicide. He gave a lot of money to charity, built up a pharmaceutical company that made generic drugs. They don't suspect outside foul play at this point-in-time.

The suicide part doesn’t make sense here.

If he did the murder, then a billion dollars can buy a really good defense team .... so why just give up and commit suicide?

If she did the murder, with our current cultural climate, she could just claim he had been abusing her for years and she couldn’t take it any more, and probably get off .... so why give up and commit suicide?

So, color me suspicious, especially when you add in the Clinton connection ....

It’s an unbelievable story..... each of the four Toronto newspapers have slightly different information but if pieced together, the bodies were found hanging from a railing that overlooked an indoor pool area. He was 76 and she was younger.... late 60s as I recall. Lived quite modestly and over the years had given away tons of money for various causes.... lots of it went to Jewish hospitals etc. No sign of any forced entry to the house... house was up for sale and it was actually a realtor who found the bodies.

Here’s the Mop and Pails’s version of it... it has a bit more current info than some of the others... there are so many obvious questions with this. The fact that the police have said they aren’t particularly looking for anything beyond the murder-suicide theory sure makes one wonder if that’s not a decoy of some sort.

One of my initial thoughts too, was a billionaire, if there are not “house servants” there presently, one would think there houses would have close-circuit TV, other security apparatuses there. You’d think there might be video. This is sort of a “sleuth” story definitely.
