(CNN) - The White House repeated Saturday that President Donald Trump has no intentions of firing Department of Justice special counsel Robert Mueller amid fresh speculation from a congresswoman that he would be doing so.
"As the White House has consistently said for months, there is no consideration of firing the special counsel," Ty Cobb, the White House special counsel, told CNN in a statement.
Cobb's statement came in response to comments by California Democratic Rep. Jackie Speier, who repeated concerns Friday that Trump would fire Mueller. "I believe that the President wants all of this shut down," she speculated during an appearance on KQED in California. "He wants to shut down these investigations and he wants to fire special counsel Mueller."
Speier's comments echo concerns from other Democrats that the President might fire the special counsel, who is investigating allegations of collusion between Trump's campaign and Russia in Moscow's alleged effort to influence last year's election.

The problem with keeping Mueller is that the witch hunt isn’t ending, Flynn and Manafort are charged, but no Clinton people. Will this affect the 2018 mid-terms leading to Dems getting elected?

1) Embroil the Trump administration with indictments-scandals with the ultimate goal of toppling(impeachment-resignation)
2) Use the SC to bury the mountain of high crime evidence against Hillary & the O’muslim regime.
3) Show the people what happens if you want to go to work for the Trump administration...You’ll be crucified by the propaganda press and indicted by a soviet-style special counsel. Your house raided in the dark of the night by the goose-steppers at the FBI.

You’re one of the few that gets it. The very existence of a special counsel gives the appearance that the Trump admin is not legitimate.

If Trump would have run on eliminating income tax deductions for W-2 workers while letting corporations keep theirs, I would have been one of those people dragged out of his rally’s for protesting, and he would be saying “get him out”.
He also would have never won.

Mueller is like a cornered rat, and is quickly upping the ante, as per these stories from today. Trump needs his allies in Congress to demand a new special counsel, which would force Mueller to resign to defend himself.

All the Democrats praising Mueller will be so sweet to play back once the indictments start flying their way.
I did find time to watch the Sessions, Wray and Rosenstein hearings in toto ... and it is very clear to me the Mueller investigation is focusing on Clinton/Obama corruption (or treason) and is about to completely exonerate President Trump.
The criminal conspiracy is SO LARGE that naming this Special Counsel and giving him a vaguely defined charter ... then taking a year to investigate in secrecy ... is really the only way it could be attacked.
